I'm watching The Ten Commandments because I really like Charlton Heston's voice. Reminds me of spending most of my teenage years watching Planet of the Apes (original, of course).

I've seen both Shaolin Soccer and Shaun of the Dead-- both highly recommended. Shaun of the Dead more, though. I've seen it like three times. xd
I tried watching Evil Dead, but horror movies with bad effects gross me out (like to the point of nausea) and I can't watch them.

I aint heard of any of them on your list, Soul.
Sam - Its ******** sweet. Starring David Bowie and some girl who I think went on and did something else. Its a Jim Henson movie. 3nodding A cult sorta thing.
One movie I'd recommend everyone see is Milos Forman's "Hair."
Its a musical about this guy named Claude Bukowski who goes to New York after being drafted for the Vietnam war. He meets a group of hippies and, well.
Its got a ******** sad ending, really hits ya in the heart, mans.

A few others that came to mind:
Anything by Akira Kurosawa Zatoichi: the Blind Swordsman Perfect Blue (anime, but still a movie)
And "The Heroic Trio" is good for a laugh. Horrendously cheesy, but fun.

Ong Bak came here, but I was really busy that weekend. sweatdrop I still wanna see like whoa. I'm sure I'll catch it when it comes to my university's theatre.
I'm a big Kurosawa fan too, though I've only seen "Shichinin no samurai" ("The Seven Samurai") and "Ikiru" ("To Live"). Both are like super good. I've seen Seven Samurai two or three times and I really want to see it again. I'd reccomend Ikiru as well, but it's sooooooooooooooo looooooooong. The movie keeps on going for like, 40 minutes after the storyline completes itself.
Oh, and I found out: The Ten Commandments is five hours long. gonk At least it is with commercials.

Hey as anyone else seen well there's three awsome I would recomend and and mostly everyone hasn't seen them the first is
La Femme Nikita the one I'm talknig about is the french one done completely in french but with english subtitles anyways it's about a girl in this street gang who is addicted to crack and it makes her a born killer as well as living on the streets. Well her gang gets killed and an organization turns her into a bounty hunter anyone seen it?
The other is snatch It's british about a pile of stuff stolen diamonds and illegal boxing, gangsters, dogs fighting, dogs in general,Pikeys' and ect anyone seen that? Brad pitt is in it if that will ring any bells.
The last is Rumble Fish based on a book by S.E Hinton about street gangs again and a brother living up to his eldest bro's rep

The cabin that evil dead was filmed at is here in TN. I've been to it. Top 10 favorite movie list 1. The Crow 2. The Shawshank Redemption 3. Independance Day 4. The Punisher 5. Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory 6. Clerks 7. Mary Poppins 8. A Walk To Remember 9. The Fellowship of the Ring 10. The Great Escape
