Miralle slid a pink hair clip into her hair, before checking her appearance a final time in the mirror. She smooth out her pleated white mini skirt and adjusted her bright pink top. Grinning happily, so bounced out of the bathroom and down the stairs.
Everything looked ready. There was food, and pop and all sorts of things that every party needed. And of course, no parents. Faidrae was out of town on business, something to do with the dogs, and had put Miralle in charge. It was only for the weekend, and there were neighbors, so she had felt everything would be fine.
Being the kind of girl that she was, Miralle had opted to host a little ... party. Her younger siblings were off staying with friends, so she had the house to herself. It was the perfect time.
The door bell rang, interupting her thoughts mind stream. She bounded over to the door and opened it, grinning at who she saw standing there.
" Hello sweetest. Your beauty eclipses the sunrise tonight. " Zelos leaned on the door frame, letting Miralle take the comment in. As she giggled, he kissed her swavely on the hand.
" Am I the first one here ? " She nodded, he simply grinned. " Well, I wouldn't object if it stayed that way darling. "

Alida bit her lip as she watched the pair at the door. Her last party had gone alright, so she had been rather more easily persuaded to go to this one. But... the way the pair at the door were acting, she didn't know what to expect from this party.
Sighing, she made up her mind. She was already here, and if she didn't have fun, she could just leave. No one would notice her doing so, not quiet, mousy Alida.
So she put on a pleasant smile, and walked towards the door, plucking invisible dust off her black skirt with one hand while pulling the black shawl a little closer with the other; it was almost a reflexive gesture. The teenage demon still wasn't used to showing her wings off in public.

Zelos glanced over at the little demon girl and grinned. " Miralle, I think you have another guest. "
The flamboyant teen walked over to Alida, a huge smile still plastered on his face. " And who might you be, my little gem of the night ? "
Miralle laughed a little uneasily at hearing Zelos' comment. " Just try to ignore him. He's like that with everyone. Can I take your shawl ? "

Alida almost gave into the urge to look behind her and see who Zelos was addressing, but she knew there wasn't anyone there. Which meant he had to mean her. Her cheeks turned scarlet and she looked down towards the ground for a moment.
And now she was being asked to give up her shawl. It can't hurt, we're all kinder.... she encouraged herself, and pulled the shawl off to hand it to Miralle with a smile that showed mostly in her eyes.
Well, at least they were both nice. But he'd asked her name, and she had yet to answer. She pulled the small notebook from her purse, and flipped it open to a clean page.
My name is Alida, it's a pleasure to meet you, she wrote, and then added in a line below, May I ask your name?
She knew Miralle's name, even if she didn't really know the girl. But, that would change, since they were at a party together, and no one else had yet arrived.

" I'm Zelos. And she's Miralle. " He grinned. " Nice outfit. Much better without the shawl. "
She smiled happily and took the shawl, hanging it carefully up in the hall closet. Alida seemed a little on the shy side, but showing up was at least half of life, or so they said.

Alida looked down at her dress, smoothing the skirt out a bit with her hand. She nodded at his introduction, though, and tried to commit the names to memory.
Do you know who else is coming? she asked in writing, surprised that she had been so early. Normally she avoided parties altogether, and her last one, she'd shown up so late she'd been lost in the crowd.
