During lunch a couple of my friends and me were all sitting around at lunch talking about the usual things (Pokemon, and other old anime we used to watch). When out of the blue we started giving characters jobs and occupations that they would do if they were in our time in our world. Soon we started gettting on to FMA which lead us to the seven deadly sins. We only did them cause we were also in a way thinking up occupation for the people/demons/devils that represent the seven deadly sins in Chrono Crusuade also. (sry for the rammbling)
Envy - a marrige counselor
Gluttony- a McDonalds employee (or some other fast food place)
Greed - invests in the stock market
Lust - works at a nail place, a fashion designer, or a soap opera star
Pride- a motivational speaker
Sloth- have a diet program
Wrath - a gym teacher or a telemarketer
So now that you have seen some examples what do you think the FMA characters would be in real life?

WOW. I do the same thing with my friends. xd
Lets see, we always talk about random characters from different shows... like Darcia(Wolf's Rain) being in the looney house. But I don't like Wolf's Rain(no real point), so that one doesnt really matter.
Hmmm.... Homunculi:
Envy would be a lawyer. MESSIN' UP PEOPLE'S LIVES. (nothing against lawyers)
Gluttony would be a taste tester at a high sat. fat snack factory.
Wrath would be the leader of an anger management group. LOL.
Lust would be a painter..... putting all her feelings down on canvas.
Greed, dang, he would be a pimp... AND YOU KNOW IT!
Pride Would be the President of some successful company. Very rich. Very.... proud.
Sloth would be unemployed. Cuz, Sloth = Aversion to work or exertion; laziness; indolence.
Other:
Hughes would be a photographer. Ya know, the kind that takes family pictures.
Armstrong would be a weight trainer. Anything where he can show off his muscles.
Alphonse would work at an animal shelter, trying to take some home every night in his armor.
Edward would lead a support group. "Hi, my name is Edward Elric and I'm short."
*gets hit with boot*
Havoc would be to busy going on dates with women to have a job. Poor, unlucky, Havoc-san.
And thats it for me. I can't think of any others. LOL.

hm...the others...let's see, here's what i think:
you're all wrong about gluttony... don't take things at such face value... he would work at a restaurant, duh. but not just cuz they'd never have to worry about throwing out the leftovers or cleaning up the kitchen. something tells me if he took the time to give it a try, he'd be a damn good cook, too. xd
wrath is too young to work. you can't even get a permit till you're like 14. XP
and duh, lust would totally be a model. she's got that high-strung 'you can't afford me' attitude.
i agree...that greed would be a pimp.
pride would take over microsoft and boot bill gates down off his frigging high horse. he would then implement all software with programs so he could see into your homes, thus axtending his 'ultimate eye' over *everything*!! bwaaahahahahah!!!
sloth would have some boring-a** desk job since she hates to work anyway. she'd be like...one of those people who never does ANYTHING, but never gets caught and fired for it.
hm...i think roy is best-suited for entrepeneur work... he's ambitious and dedicated when he has a cause...i can see him climbing ladders very quickly...possibly in pride's software company? O_o
riza would, of course, be roy's secretary...or perhaps bodyguard, depending on the situation. ^_~ he'd still hate paperwork, so someone would have to make him do it... independently, however, i could see riza as a federal agent or a crime-scene investigator. you know, something...prestigious and high-profile, but something that keeps her on her toes and thinking.
havoc would be a journalist. i can see this.
fuery would totally be like a kindergarten teacher. i'm sure he's great with kids. heart
breda and armstrong would be like...lumberjacks or steelworkers... something where size and muscle really count and are useful to their work.
falman would be like an...interpreter or...something like...bookish. he's got such a minor role in the story, but i get a major soft-spoken intelligence vibe from him.
edward would be...i can see him as like a...personal trainer or something. if any of you have played tobenai tenshi, you see him really get into teaching armony. he'd be a great instructor in his field, i think. not exactly patient, but i bet he'd get good, quick results.
al would be a vet. no debate.
winry would be a...mechanic, duh. prolly like an aviation mechanic or something highly trained tho. she wouldn't settle to work on just cars.
and that's my take. xd bwaaah, i put waay too much thought into that...

some time ago, me and my friend were thinking about "school FMA" heh, that was funny...
King Bradley as school's director ( xd )
Roy as teacher of... I dunno... hmmm... maybe some Maths or something? History, maybe?
Armstrong as PT teacher, and Izumi-sensei also (she would be really rough...)
Maes... as Art teacher (photographer, he he!)
Liza would be great educator type, heh xd
and I think that Ed would be some "star-type" in class... talented, popular (mostly around girls, being honest... sweatdrop )
(we didn't thought of Homunculi... shame... sweatdrop )
maybe you have any other ideas? (that's real fun!)

I'm working at McDonalds right now.. but maybe the little guy could get it to behave. If Wrath were old enough I think he'd be a good gym teacher... but now that I think about it he'd do good in survival training.. or maybe he could apply for Survivor! Application: I think I would be good for this show cause I lived on a desserted island since I was a wee little lad. (don't mind my accent/slang) And envy would be very smexy in a suit. I think a defence attorney would be a good job for him... but I think it would be funny seeing him as a marrige counselor. Armstrong could be a pro wrestler! They act all tough on tv, but deep down they can be really good people.

Armstrogn would be, a Pe teacher, trainer, or wrestler. Or something, no doubts there.
I would LOVE envy as a lwyer... or marriage counsler. Oh my, that would be so great! I sense plot bunnies apperaing... NO! GO AWAY!
Hmmm... Barry the Chopper...would be a TV star. Truly. And... hmmm.... Havoc, would also make a good lawyer.... the kind you see in movies. Oh, I can imagine it, his sitting at his desk, with his feet up, smoking... Or am i thinking of a detective... Now, I'm nto saying he'd be a GOOD one mind, but I can imagine him as one...
