Indeed, I don't get how he even stood a chance, or could even be eye level with Godzilla's chest... King Kong in his movies while beside and inside of buildings looks like he'd only be up to Godzilla's waist at most...

Godzilla: the first movie: n the beginning, many Japanese fishing boats are being destroyed by a "wall of fire" in the ocean. No one can explain what kind of phenonema would destroy this, so scientists began to conduct some research. An island called "Odo Island" have claimed to have seen a monster called "Godzilla," which was a part of a legend they had there. Then, Godzilla shows up on the island and creates some damage. The natives are then transferred to a press conference in Japan. All of them claimed that the ship disasters, and the terror caused the night before was by Godzilla. The scientists then go back to the island again and witness Godzilla on top of a hill. Photographs are taken of him, and the main character, Dr. Yamane describes that Godzilla was resurrected from prehistoric times by H-Bomb tests. Dr. Yamane's daughter, Emiko (who will later appear in Godzilla vs. Destoroyah), is engaged to a scientist named Dr. Serizawa. Serizawa shows Emiko a horrible device that destroys all oxygen and surrounding life in water. Emiko promises Serizawa not to reveal his secret.


he military, from a boat, shoots depth charges into the ocean hoping to kill Godzilla. Later on though Godzilla pops his head out of the water near a cruise ship in Tokyo Bay. Godzilla then dives back into the water. The next night the Japanese military gather up to try to stop Godzilla. They're unsuccessful and Godzilla crushes a few buildings and destroys a train. Godzilla then returns to the water. Although his attack was brief, there was much damage. The next night, Toko evacuates the people behind a set of high tension wires that the military placed up. Godzilla appears later and easily breaks through the barrier with no pain. Nobody in Tokyo is safe. Godzilla completely destroys the city with his dreaded heat beam. Many people are killed. Military tanks and jets try to stop Godzilla's fury, but neither of them work. The next day at a hospital, where all of the dead and wounded lay from the previous night, Emiko tells Ogata, a coast guard officer and who Emiko wants to marry, about Dr. Serizawa's oxygen destroyer weapon. They both agree that this weapon is Japan's only hope to stop Godzilla. The two visit Serizawa and ask him for the weapon. Serizawa refuses until he sees a television broadcast of the destruction Godzilla brought. Serizawa says that the oxygen destroyer will only be used this one time. He burns the plans of his work. The next day, Serizawa and Ogata place the oxygen destroyer in Tokyo Bay, near Godzilla. Ogata pulls up, but Dr. Serizawa stays underwater and cuts his oxygen tube off so nobody for sure will ever find out about his horrible weapon. Serizawa dies along with Godzilla.


Godzilla Raids again:

Two pilots named Tsukioka and Kobayashi are hunting for schools of fish for a tuna cannery company in Osaka. Kobayashi's plane malfunctions and is forced to land near Iwato Island, an uninhabited strip of rocks formed by volcanic eruptions. Tsukioka then looks for Kobayashi and finds him safe, with only a wrist sprain. While talking, the two men hear some strange sounds and find two monsters fighting. Tsukioka immedietely recognizes one of the monsters to be Godzilla. The two monsters then fall off a cliff, into the ocean.

Tsukioka and Kobayashi report to the authorities in Osaka, and find out that the other creature Godzilla was fighting was called "Anguirus." A group of scientists with the two pilots researched Anguirus in a book written by a Polish scientist. Anguirus and Godzilla lived around the same time millions of years ago. Anguirus hated hostile creatures, which explains the intense rivalry between Anguirus and Godzilla.

Dr. Yamane, who experienced Godzilla's first attack, was also present at the meeting, and shows a film of Godzilla attacking Tokyo just one year before. He then explains that the Godzilla Tsukioka and Kobayashi saw is another Godzilla. Yamane states that there is no way to kill Godzilla, and that Dr. Serizawa, the inventor of weapon used to kill the previous Godzilla, the Oxygen Destroyer, had died and burned the formula. Yamane, though, suggests that the military should use flares on Godzilla to attract the monster away from the shore. Godzilla becomes angry when he sees lights because the hydrogen bomb's bright explosion had awakened him.

One day unexpectedly, Godzilla shows up on the shore of Osaka. Jets are sent to shoot flares from their planes to lead Godzilla away from the shore. Godzilla sees the flames, and, as Yamane predicted, starts to walk away.

Meanwhile, a prison truck transports dangerous criminals to another part of the country. All of the criminals, using body language, decided that this would be a great opportunity to escape from prison. The prisoners beat up the two policemen guarding the back door of the truck, and run away. A few of them find a gasoline truck, and put the petal to the metal. The truck crashes into an industrial building and starts a massive fire.

The fire attracts Godzilla to the shore of Osaka again. A few minutes later, Anglilas swims to shore and attacks Godzilla. The two creatures fight an intense battle, while destroying several buildings, including the tuna cannery that Tsukioka and Kobayashi work for. Godzilla finally bites Anguirus's neck, and throws him on a moat near Osaka Castle. Godzilla then fires his atomic ray, and burns Anguirus to death.

sukioka and Kobayashi are transferred to a Hokkaido plant. During a company party, Tsukioka and Kobayashi are notified that Godzilla destroyed one of the company fishing boats. The military, and Tsukioka begin a massive search for Godzilla. Tsukioka spots Godzilla swim to the shore of a small, icy island. He notifies the cannery, and Kobayashi takes off in his plane to switch shifts with Tsukioka.

Kobayashi dives his plane towards Godzilla to distract him from walking back into the ocean. Tsukioka then transferred to the air force, travels on a jet with an old college friend. They drop bombs on Godzilla but are unsuccessful. Godzilla then wades towards shore. Koboyashi dives towards Godzilla again but Godzilla fires his atomic ray on Kobayashi's plane. The plane then crashes on an icy mountain, killing Kobayashi.

Tsukioka grieves but then notices that the military can shoot missiles at the mountain, and bury Godzilla in an avalanche. The jets fire the missiles, and bury Godzilla in snow to his waste.

he jets return to base to reload, and Tsukioka is authorized to fly in his own jet. The jets return to the icy island, and shoot missiles at the mountain, burying Godzilla to his neck. Tsukioka then shoots his missiles burying Godzilla completely. Tsukioka looks to the sky, and says, "Kobayashi, we buried Godzilla for you."

Godzilla vs Monster Zero.(( vamps note- The top 1 of my most disliked Godzilla movie. They turn Godzilla back to a bad guy and then to a Good guy then i couldnt follow the ending. I hated this movie.))

A planet has been discovered just beyond Jupiter. The scientists who discovered it decide to call the planet "Planet X." Two astronauts named Glenn (played by Nick Adams), and Fuji (Akira Takarada) are launched from Earth to investigate the planet. When they land, they discover that a highly intelligent race of aliens live there. They also learn that their planet is constantly being attacked by King Ghidrah, which they call Monster Zero. The aliens ask them if they can borrow Godzilla (Monster Zero-One) and Rodan (Monster Zero-Two) and get them to kick King Ghidrah off their planet. They also say that if Earth lets them borrow the two monsters, they will grant them a miracle cure for all diseases known to man

Meanwhile on Earth, Fuji's sister is dating an inventor named Tetsuo. Fuji isn't fond of Tetsuo and doesn't think he will go anywhere with his inventions. Tetsuo invents a device that makes a very noisy sound. A toy company later calls him and offers him $100,000 for his invention. Tetsuo and his girlfriend go to a restaurant where he signs a contract with a person with the toy company named Miss Namikawa, who actually is Glenn's girlfriend.

The Japanese government agrees to send Godzilla and Rodan to Planet X in exchange for the miracle cure. The aliens then use a special "nuclear skill" to raise the monsters off the ground with their flying saucers. When they arrive at Planet X, they release Godzilla and Rodan. King Ghidrah arrives, and after a short fight, Ghidrah retreats and Godzilla does a funky dance.

The aliens give Glenn and Fuji the miracle cure formula on tape. When they arrive back on Earth, they later discover that the miracle cure formula is not on the tape, but orders for them to surrender to the Planet X men, and become a colony (hmm, let's see, unknown aliens with more technology than us? Yeah, I guess they would want to take over Earth!). The government also find out that they are now controlling Godzilla, Rodan, and King Ghidrah.

Glenn realizes that Namikawa, his girlfriend, is part of the Planet X race. Before the controller of Planet X destroys her, she gives him a letter that tells him the Planet X people can be destroyed by a certain sound. The controller then throws Glenn and Tetsuo into jail. Tetsuo reads Namikawa's letter and realizes that they could use his invention to get out of jail. Glenn and Tetsuo use the invention to break themselves out of jail. They go to the government and tell them about how the invention can destroy the Planet X men. The government at the same time was testing a new device that sends out magnetic waves to destroy the Planet X people's control over Godzilla, Rodan, and King Ghidrah

The Planet X men order the three monsters to attack (where else?) Tokyo. The flying saucers also go to attack any military vehicles in sight. The government broadcasts the sound from Tetsuo's invention over the radio and ask people to turn the sound up as high as possible. They find that the sound is working. The military shoots out magnetic waves towards the flying saucers and the three monsters. The flying saucers blow up and Godzilla, Rodan, and King Ghidrah are stunned for a while. Godzilla stands up and wakes up Rodan and starts to attack King Ghidrah. They duke it out for a while and then fall off a cliff into the sea. King Ghidrah flies out of the water, but Godzilla and Rodan stay in the ocean.


Godzilla vs the Sea monster. (( Vamps note.- this was my very first and favorite Godzilla movie. some dont like it but i love this movie sine it what first introduced me to Godzilla.))

Ryota's brother, Yata, has been lost at sea for three months and still believes he's still alive. He tries to ask government authorities to conduct a search but they refuse. While he's in the waiting room, Ryota sees a flyer for a dance marathon where the winner receives a sailboat.

Ryota arrives at the marathon only to be three days late to enter. As he's gazing at the dancers he meets Ichino and Niita, after collapsing on the floor from exhaustion. They decide to look at boats at the local marina and walk into one called the Yahlen. They suddenly confront the angry owner of the boat, Yoshimura, who decides to let them stay for the night.

The next morning, the crew members find themselves out at sea. In the middle of the night, Ryota, who claimed the boat to be a "gift from the gods," had set sail to search for his brother and refuses to turn around. The rest of the guys get seasick and lay down. While listening to the radio, it is found out that Yoshimura is not the owner of the boat but a wanted bank robber.

Days later, the Yahlen confronts a big storm. Before the men are thrown overboard they see a giant claw rising from the depths. The crewmen are washed ashore on a strange island. They explore for a little bit and find out they are on a base of an underground military organization known as the Red Bamboo. Ryota, Ichino, Niita and Yoshimura spot an incoming ship containing natives of Infant Island that the Red Bamboo are using as slaves. Two of the slaves try to espace from a canoe but are soon met with the same giant claw Ryota, Ichino, Niita and Yoshimura saw the night before. The giant lobster, named Ebirah, kills the two escaping slaves and descends back into the ocean.

A female slave though named Daiyo manages to escape unnoticed by the armed guards while they were distracted by Ebirah. She meets up with Ryota, Ichino, Niita and Yoshimura. Before they can talk, a search balloon spots them and they are chased by Red Bamboo soldiers. The soldiers lose sight of them and the group finds a cave to hide.

Daiyo prays to Mothra for help but the Infant Island goddess is still asleep. Ryota asks if his brother Yata is on the island and Daiyo informs him he is. Yoshimura feels that waiting for Mothra to help them will be too long and proposes to sneak into their headquarters to find out more about the Red Bamboo and their intentions. Ichino refuses and when Niita throws down a rock in refusal, he kneels down in shock when he realizes the bottom contains the sleeping body of Godzilla.

Ichino and Niita take the lesser of the two evils and join Yoshimura, Daiyo and Ryota to raid the Red Bamboo base. With years of criminal experience, Yoshimura is able to easily break in the doors by using a skeleton key. The crew finds out that the base is a heavy water factory - the key ingredient in constructing nuclear bombs! While sneaking out they confront Red Bamboo soldiers and are chased. Niita is captured while Ryota escapes in a hot-air balloon that heads for Infant Island. Niita is thrown in with the other slaves and is forced to make a yellow liquid out of a special fruit that stops Ebirah from attacking the Red Bamboo ships.

At the cave, Ichino proposes to awaken Godzilla to distract the soldiers from finding them and to ultimately destroy the Red Bamboo's evil operation. Ichino suggests directing electricity to wake the monster by using wire and a sword the group found earlier. Meanwhile, Ryota lands safely on Infant Island and finds his brother Yata alive and well. The two decide to row back to Devil's Island, the location of the Red Bamboo, to help the natives in captive. The Shobijin tell Ryota and Yata to tell the Infant Islanders to create a large net after they escape. The Shobijin also give them some yellow liquid to repel Ebirah from attacking.

Three days later, just as Ryota and Yata are approaching the island, a storm arrives. The giant waves crash on Ryota and Yata's boat and the kegs filled with yellow liquid float away. Soon enough, Ebirah's giant claw rises from the depths. Meanwhile, lighting strikes the sword placed by Ichino, Yoshimura and Daiyo, and Godzilla awakens! The king of the monsters breaks out of the cave and confronts Ebirah before the sea monster can kill Ryota and Yata. Godzilla throws a couple of boulders at Ebirah and the two monsters hit them back at each other. Godzilla then walks closer to Ebirah and the two wrestle until Ebirah drags Godzilla under the sea. Godzilla bonks Ebirah on the head with a rock and the sea monster retreats.

The next day, Yoshimura, Ichino and Daiyo begin placing booby traps around them for the Red Bamboo. Soon, they hear two of the traps go off and find a couple of men hanging from a tree. It's Ryota and his brother Yata! "Mr. Safecracker!" Ryota exclaims as Yoshimura arrives. After Yoshimura pulls them down, Yata is impatient to help the Infant Island natives held captive. Yoshimura is annoyed by Yata's eagerness but decides to follow him after the group goes ahead with him anyways. Meanwhile, Niita has an idea. Why not make a phony batch of the yellow liquid? The slaves all agree and begin to make one out of the leaves.

As the group is plotting their raid, a hidden mircophone picks up their voices and the group is ambushed by the Red Bamboo. The group runs away and seperates. As Daiyo is being chased up a hill, Godzilla appears overhead and the Red Bamboo soldiers run away. Godzilla stares at Daiyo and seems to be taking a keen interest in her. All this staring though gets Godzilla a little tired and the monster sits down and falls asleep. Just as Daiyo is about to escape, a giant condor (named Daikondoru) suddenly attacks Godzilla. Wings and large talons though are not enough against Godzilla and the king of the monsters shoots the bird down with his atomic ray after a short bout.

Before Godzilla can catch his breath, a group of Red Bamboo jets come swooping down and attack Godzilla. Fighting jets though is Godzilla's speciality and makes short work of them too. Daiyo is able to escape admist the chaos and rejoins the group. Godzilla then wades his way towards the Red Bamboo base. As the group is watching, Yata sprints away to help the prisoners while Yoshimura chases after him.

The Red Bamboo's tactics fail against Godzilla's raid and decide to evacuate. They take the phony batch of liquid and leave the prisoners underground. Soon enough, Yoshimura and Yata come by and Yoshimura unlocks the door with his skeleton key. As the group approaches the lab one of the scientists sets a nuclear timebomb at the lab that will detonate the island within two hours. Godzilla then destroys part of the building, crushing the scientist. Large pipes from the ceiling block the detonator from being deactivated. The group rejoins Daiyo, Ryota and Ichino and they construct a large net as the Shobijin instructed.

As the Red Bamboo escapes from the island, Ebirah rises from the sea. Niita's plan worked. The phony yellow liquid is ineffective against Ebirah and the sea monster destroys the Red Bamboo ship. Godzilla then spots Ebirah again and the two fight again. Godzilla eventually grabs ahold of Ebirah's claws and tears them off. As the limbless monster helplessly swims away, Godzilla plays with one of the claws. Soon after, Godzilla spots Mothra flying over the island.

With ten minuts left before the island detonates, Mothra lands and the Shobijin orders the people to go into the net to wait for her. Godzilla is angry that Mothra is on his territory and confronts her. Mothra flies towards Godzilla and hits him with her wing that sends Godzilla down a hill. Mothra then picks up the large net filled with the group and the Infant Island natives and flies away.

"I cannot help but feel bad for Godzilla," Daiyo says as they watch Godzilla standing alone on the island. The group then yells for Godzilla to leave the island since he did help them escape afterall. Seconds before the island explodes, Godzilla jumps off the island and swims away.
