How come Roxas looks like a combination of Cloud and Sora. Did the creator think it would be a nice blend? Or was is totally by accident?

That was just because of his uber blonde hair.
But in the end Roxas was meant to look like Sora.

Male SquareEnix and Squaresoft game main characters all seem to look the same to me. Like, the main character from The Bouncer looks like a mix of Sora and Tidus. And I think Tidus and Cloud resemble each other.
The only ones who really change are the females. Like, you might be able to find 1 or 2 facial things different with the males, but overall, to me they look a lot alike

Sora and Roxas have the same eyes sorta but for awhile I didn't think they looked like eachother but then I saw it. The blonde hair kinda throws it off but he looks like Sora.
