Here are all of the positions in the summer play! You may only participate in one category. Except, if you are
not an actor, makeup/costume artist, or special effects, you are allowed to be an usher/program giver. This is because the actors and the makeup/costume artists must be backstage before the play.
NOTE:
+Everyone who wants a part in a specific category will recieve one.
+All of this must be done by roleplaying as your character. It might be a good idea to pick the job that your character would pick.

+Please check here for updates and what to do next. Beauty and The BeastSet designer/builderThe set designers and builders will create a stage that represents the scenes in the play. They can be as creative as they want and have the stage simple or exravagant. You will first here the about the adaptation of the play (in what style it will be) then you should come up with a set that brings out that style. It is helpful if you do a bit of research to know what you are doing.
This job is good for artists who can draw up their ideas and show them to everyone.
Makeup artist and Costume DesignerThe Makeup artist and Costume designers work side by side to transform the actors into their characters. You can paint people purple or douse them in a toga of dimonds. Your costumes and makeup should cordinate with the set and the adaptaion of the play. For example if the set is black the people should not be dressed in black because then no one could see them.
This job is also good for artists who can draw or those who like to cosplay and would like to create real life costumes and show them to us via photographs.
ActorThe actor's job is to portray the character role that he/she has been given. Since this play has no script you will have to create your own with the help of the directors and assistants. You must show up at the rehersals for the scenes that you are in. You must respect the dicissions of the director and his assistants, the costume and makeup artists and the set designers.
Auditions for actors will be held May 13th & 14th in the events sub-forum. YOU MUST ROLEPLAY YOUR AUDITIONS AS YOUR CHARACTER! That means if you must not change your characters personality to fit that of the role you want. Auditions will be in order of those who sign up first to last. Your position will not change your chances of recieving a role. However you cannot sign up for a certain role, your role will be determined by the director and assistants.
SPECIAL EFFECTThis job is for those who are gifted in fire/ice/having sparkles come out of their hands/wind/lavitating objects or other powers. You will talk with Kurai and help think of special ways to make the play more dramatic/exciting/frightening/romantic/or show the weather. You will use your abilities to move the actors or create something on the stage (or in the audience/above the audience) during the play. Please have control of your art and do not hurt anyone/thing!
USHER/PROGRAM GIVERThese are simple jobs that are only on the days of the performance. If you do these jobs you get into the play for free! You can either hand out programs to those that come into the play or take people to their seats. Please dress in a nice mostly black outfit for these positions.
