Frankly, I'm torn. Her i am, reading e3 coverage, excited for the nintendo wii (I mean REALLY excited), and it happened. I saw it. It was like God's own hand came down and touched my computer screen and there it was. I have the first two games, and then they spring a third on me. crying Which to buy???!!! It's infuriating!! stressed I really want to get my zelda and metroid fix and the wii (and that controller.....*drool*), but halo 3 looks so darn amazing and lucious and beautiful, what should i do?? *sigh* sad oh, and by the way, sony stole nintendo's idea http://ds-play.com/news_story.asp?story_id=490

First of all, I'd like to say I HATE the name of the Nintendo System. They shoulda' kept it the Nintendo Revolution, instead of the Wii.
Rant aside...
I understand your pain, man!!
I, too, love Zelda, Metroid, plus many of the mario games.
But Halo 3....

Personally, I was disappointed in the Halo 3 trailer. It looked fantastic, but I had higher expectations. Xbox 360 looks like it has a good lineup for this year. I don't think I'd buy one (the games don't really interest me enough to want one), but I'm looking at it through... I guess you could say, a critic's perspective.
PS3 is wonderful! Too bad I'm not rich enough to even attempt to buy one gonk crying However, the trailer for Final Fantasy XIII blew me away! Although it's about a minute long, it's action-packed, beautiful, and if that's how the gameplay works, I'm sold!
The Nintendo Wii has recently got me REALLY excited. Something innovative, simple, and fun! I'm not a nintendo fan really, but this could change that. Plus I love the approach they have to their new gaming experience. I mean, good graphics are a plus, but if the game there's no enjoyment, it's not really worth my time.

i'd go for the nintendo wii (hate the name by the way should've stuck with revolution)
personally... the X-box 360 in the next few months wont have much to compete with. even the wii will beat the 360 in power and that's saying something. the only thing that the 360 will have over the wii is the fact that the games can be made in HD whereas the wii will not support that.
*curses sony for copying nintendo*
*shrug*
oh well. the PS3 is supposed to be the ultimate system however the controller will NOT be quite as good as nintendo's. the PS3 controller will only be able to read movements of left, right, up, down, and slight tilting. no depth, no angles. nothing.... so yeah... the wii controller will still be better, but the PS3 has new disks that will hold approx. a gig of memory. that's freakin' amazing!
too bad i'm not rich enough to afford it. i have to pay for my mission and quite frankly i can't afford to give up 600 dollars to get a system. even if it is gonna be awesome... but yeah sephy if you want my opinion i'd go for the wii, but do me a favor and call it the revolution.
I HATE THE NAME WII!!!!!!! IT SHOULD DIE!!!!

(i just saw the trailer for the new super smash bros for the revolution. all i gotta say is that it's gonna be freakin' awesome! snake is a playable character now and wario will be joining in as well... along with some other new characters. its gonna rock!)

Go for the nintendo. No question about it.
The PS3 is a rip-off anyway, even with Halo3, there's no way Sony thinks it's worth it's price.

Im not into Halo so much so I really dont know what I'd do with an Xbox.
I dont know much about the PS3.
What I do know is that the new Smash Brothers comes out on Wii, Wii it is.

Reiji the trailer for Final Fantasy XIII blew me away! Although it's about a minute long, it's action-packed, beautiful, and if that's how the gameplay works, I'm sold! Check out this link and then press "Watch it now". I'm serious, you won't regret it. It's so pretty-ful! Oh, and if I'm not mistaken, there my be some actual gameplay clip in there from about 21-29 seconds into the movie. Oh and the music is pretty cool too. Just check it out peeps! Final Fantasy XIII

i'm not much of a halo person either.... but man... if i had the money i'd go PS3, but even if i had the money i would still go for the revolution first.

I think over the years, I've spent a lot more time in front of a Nintendo than a Playstation or XBox, even though I've never played a Gamecube

I hated it when I first learned about it but the name has grown on me so I don't mind anymore. I don't quite care for the name of systems, just as long as it performs!

true true, but i think they should've kept revolution as the name. i mean it doesn't roll off the tongue as well as the wii does, but it sounds so much cooler.
*shrug* oh well.. either way that's what i'm getting the only thing going for X-box 360 is halo 3 and halo is waaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyy overrated.. its just like all the other first person shooters and what made it popular was the multiplayer. all the next gen systems will be online like the x-box so halo will easily be surpassed if people wouldn't be so biggoted about how halo beats all other games.
however even with all the new games and stuff let us not forget our older games. those were quality games. graphics weren't as much of an issue as htey are now. remember: graphics dont always make good games.
(by the way.. the new zelda for GC is going to also be released for the revolution. so if you're getting the revolution then get zelda with that instead of for the GC. just to let you all know. since they're both coming out in pretty much teh same week. well... i think maybe the revolution comes out about a week after zelda comes out for GC, but wait an extra week and get it for the revolution)
