The shop was one that Flarie and Skye had used before, only then it had been under a different name. If one looked hard enough they might see the old lettering beneath the fresh coat of paint on the sign... But they would have to look very hard, and who looks that deeply at signs anyways?
The sign above the door read 'Bottled Pixies' and, just beneath that, were the words 'And Other Oddities'. Afterall, what sort of store dealt in just bottles filled with dust or dying dead fairies?
Certainly not this one.
Within, the shop itself looked less like a shop and more like a place to simply relax. Yes, there was a counter with a cash register and yes, there were shelves housing various bottles containing the strangest things and bearing the oddest labels, but there was much more than that.
There was a couch off to the side by a bookshelf lined with titles such as 'Magical Properties of Stones' and 'How to care for Pixies: A Gardener's Guide'. Many of these books had been taken from Skye's own private library but she found them more useful here where others could read them... And, maybe, if some of the owners read them, they'd take better care of their pixies and they wouldn't have any hassles or returns.
