PSX because it has all those nifty secrets to unlock.... although someone stole my PS versoin stressed xp

The PSX version did have a lot of nifty features on it, but it doesn't make up for the unbelieveable lag time of loading, saving, opening menus...
I started playing FFIX and one of the first things I noticed (besides how much I loved it) is that the screens came up almost instantaniously.
The SNES works off of layers which is not what the PSX works off of. I think the 'layers" part is the reason SNES games are so damn slow on the PSX... However that doesn't explain the horrid sound quality.... stare

SNES simply based on the fact that the PSX has horrible midi and square waves, amking the music sound off. The games scores were created for use with the square waves of the SNES and the SNES alone. ::recalls the painful shrill *twinkle* of a menu opening:: *shudder* Though the PSX has those sexy beasts of FMVs... hmmm, still, SNES definately

The SNES version. Because its the original, I bought it the day it came out, and have been whipping it up every since. That and its where all my lvl 99s live. ^_^ Yay for level 99: Terra, Setzer, Edgar, Sabin, Celes, Cyan, Gogo, Locke, Shadow. I never did finish my quest for perfection....because my SNES died..... *cries*

My game died once... but I don't think that's as bad as the console dying as you can send the game in with 20$ to Nintendo to put a new battery in... crying

Yes I was quite sad..I stilll dam dammit. Though I did not throw it away...I turned him into a tissue box. Then my mom threw him away.......

PSX load times suck!

The SNES version is better......

Like the PSX FMV Sequences though

the snes version by far. i'm too impatient for the psx version to always just sit there and load. i think it's worse when you're entering battles... i hate how it seems to take forever just to get to the battle screen. ^^;
