I wore mine too. And I wrote Happy Green Day on my arm. And I drew a truly truly demented shamrock on my hand.

Lol, I shouted "HAPPY GREEN DAY" during homeroom while our sub stepped out. No one got it.

And the girl behind me said, "Why are you saying that? You're not even green!" .....o_O

It took me a while to come up with a good comeback. Which was stupid of me, because they only laughed!! "Well, I'm not wearing green because... I'm Welsh! Haha! I'm Welsh! I don't -need- to wear green!!" stare

My ancestors are Welsh. I'm American... Euro-American blaugh

Did you know 7/10 people are irish, because back when Middle America would take white slaves they escaped over to Florida, at first we were treated bad, with all the low paying construction jobs.

That brings up anothjer story, beack when they were slaves they escaped into the hills, and they were called red necks, and thats where the term red neck comes from for people here in america that live up in the hills in the south.

There I go again....

I find it odd that some people don't beleive me when I tell them that St. Patrick's Day is a Catholic holiday. Note the "Saint" in it...
