Conduct
Be respectful to each other. Do NOT flame, yell, harrass, or be hurtful to anyone else in the Captain's Guild. This includes guild members, Gaia Staff members, oldbies, newbies, and everyone in between. If you feel like you simply cannot post anything nice, then please just refrain from posting.
Post in the Appropriate Place
Each subforum has a description alerting you to what does and does not belong there. While Moderators do have the ability to move topics between the subforums, habitual posting in the wrong subforums by any member is wrong and will be considered spam. With the addition of the new subforums it can get a little tricky, but they're pretty self explanatory. Please use the subforums to keep the clutter down. If you'd like a thread moved, please PM any GGN Dedicated Moderator to let us know.
Learn to Search
We frown upon what we call "repeat topics", "dead horse topics", "zombie", or "necro threads" in this guild. In short, some topics just have a way of rearing their ugly heads over and over. Please learn to search! Just take a few moments to look through the first few pages to see if your topic/question has already been addressed in another thread or a sticky. If it has, then READ/POST IN THAT THREAD. If it has not, then go ahead and create your topic. Learning to search will enable us to prevent having multiple threads on one topic, thus helping the guild run more smoothly.
Bumping
While bumping your topic IS allowed, we ask that you only bump if your topic has fallen off the first index page and is still unanswered. This is a slow-moving guild, please give us time to see your post and respond before you lose all hope and start bumping. Constant, repeated, nonstop bumping will be considered spam.
Attempt to Use Proper English
We aren't English and Grammar teachers, and we understand that some people aren't native speakers of English while others simply aren't good at punctuation. We don't expect perfection, but we do expect an honest effort. If you are not a good speller, type your posts into a word-processing program and spell-check them before posting them. In addition, no netspeak or leetspeak will be tolerated, nor will various "cute" styles of posting such as aLtErNaTiNg CaPs, bolding or italicizing entire posts (to the point where it hurts to read it), or never-ending strings of emoticons. Compliance with this rule will make life a lot easier for our large non-native-English-speaker population as well as Moderators and our regular members. Not to mention it will help all of us understand what the hell you're trying to say! We can't help you if we can't understand you!
Stay On Topic
Hi-jacking threads and dragging them off-topic for your own purposes will not be tolerated. It is natural for discussions to evolve. It is not natural for them to take 90-degree turns on a dime into a completely unrelated direction just because you feel like it.
Youtube Youtube can no longer be used as a location to find anime in this guild. Or atleast not publicly. If you are going to say something about youtube, although you're really not supposed to, do as a pm. This is to keep our guild out of trouble. Anything illegal shouldn't be done, but if you MUST, do it privately.
Guild Mule We have created an account for the guild. It's called AnimeOblivion. ^^ and please friend the guild account if it hasn't already friended you!
and please, if you donate please donate to AnimeOblivion. <--guild account, in case you didnt' read any of the above..^^
The original website rules apply aswell.
Be respectful of others and you will be respected =]
P.S. A violation will result in a warning. A second or more violations will result in a fine. The more you violate the more the fine increases. If you refuse to pay, you will have the option of resigning the guild. Otherwise, you will be banned. Sry if I'm strict but thats the only to keep order. Have fun!!!

I'm not sure if I need to reply to this, but I understand and will follow the rules, on my honor, or may I be chopped up and made into soup. (I've been watching Finding Nemo with my nephew a little too much...)
