The lady who is responsible for it all.
You've heard of Pandora's box. Think of the Library as her attempt to recreate this Legend, only in reverse.
Recontaining her sins, her mistakes, and her unmentionable horrors. Locking up the people who opposed her, who threatened her in some way, who betrayed her, whom she hated, and others..
.. others are much more than can be retold. [Hurr hurrr]
And in the books she has contained them, the poor souls who fell victim to such a non-existance of a fate. She sealed the Library, and thought that her sins, too, were sealed and forgotten. Of course, we know this to be wrong; the house, built shortly after her last visit to the Library, is fed by the living energy of the Library. Thus, the illusions, the tricks, and now the life the House has gained.. grown more and more powerful from each new soul, the new Forgotten and daemon, that is released.
Released from Pandora's box, so to speak.
I won't spoil for you the future storyline, but my intent in sharing this is that we can work for a similar goal; that is, we can explore the depths of our Forgotten children and their soul companions while asking that question.. who were they? What did they do..? What will come of them once they lose their innocence in knowing..?
Lizzi and I already have general ideas for some, if not most, Forgotten, but we'll only share them if you wish to know and wish to adopt them~.
