I loved the original excel, her voice was just so crazy and hyperactive but in the fourth volume and from then on, she has a different voice actress which kinda pissed me off because I miss the old Excel! Did anyone else get mad at this?

Heck yeah they did this to the anime slayers when they went to the naga the serphent dvds her voice changed that got me mad stressed but oh well I still love her by the way. heart

Yeah I still love Excel but not as much as I did before when she sounded more like an animal than human because that voice was great! She sounded so crazy and I loved her so much! Excel heart Saga=most insane but one of the best animes I have ever seen!

Aquila15 Yeah I still love Excel but not as much as I did before when she sounded more like an animal than human because that voice was great! She sounded so crazy and I loved her so much! Excel heart Saga=most insane but one of the best animes I have ever seen! You got that right it is the best. mrgreen

I was SERIOUSLY pissed because I also didn't like her jap voice either, and I had to rewind the dvd a few times to actualy make out what she was saying whereas the first voice actor (Jennifer something..I forgotten crying ), despite how fast she talked, you could still make out what she was saying as excel excel. Dx
But after a while I got used to it and pretended it sounded the same, but it still ain't quite. xD

I thought her Japanese voice was terrible. talk2hand
Her original voice was nice and fitting, but her second voice wasn't that bad. I think this is just a case of "angry-fan-boy-itis." talk2hand wink

I thought Kotono Mitsuishi did a good job as Excel. The funny thing: I didn't like excel's new voice at first, and now i hate the original. However, doesn't the story go that she burned her voice out doing excel's voice and that's why she had to leave? ((PS the bowling episode was hilarious in both languages.))

English voice, mainly. Watch the last episode of disc 3 back to back with the first of disc 4. You'll see the difference.
