This is where those who wanted to round robin write wih me will do it. If you were in The Writing Thread and you spouted that you were intrested, please post in here in some way so that we can count you when we decide writing order. If you are new to this concept or didn't know we had a writing thread, and are intrested in joinging us, post so you can be added to the roster.
Never heard of round robin writing? It's where somone starts a story, writing a few paragraphes or pages (which ever is more approprite) and then hands it to the next person to add on to it. Want to know more? Ask!
Now for the first order of business: We need a subject matter.
I was thinking we could pick either a word, phrase, or concept to be the theme of the story OR we could go with a specific genra of story. Either could work.
Examples of themed story: If we picked, say relationships, we could write about a number of relatiionships and their outcomes for the better or worse. Or if we picked freedom we could write an adventure story with a udertone of satire of what it really means to be free.
Examples of a genraed story: This is slightly more blatent, horror, western, pulp fiction, gaslamp/steam punk, meideval adventure, the sky is the limit here.
Even if you don't intend on writing, please help us get ideas, writers get their insperation from their sorroundings, and the people in this guild are our sorroundings.
Begin brainstorming.

Okay so here's my first idea, though it may be a stupid one. I love this guild, and I know I get along well with everyone here. This particular idea fit's more into theme then it does the genra department.
I want to write about the adventures of our avatar's, because each of us know that they have personality, and that they can sometimes take on a personality that is compleatly different fromour own.
This idea would be easy because each person would have their own charactor to write for unless they planned on interacting with another writers charactor.
-I plan to expand on this but comment on what I have if you wish-

Very awesome idea, indeed. I like it. ^__^; For a while I'd RP as mules and forgotten names.. and I had 'Ph34rm3h' on the last chatroom I went to and I got nothing but (bitter and jealous) flamery.
But yeah, I wouldn't mind writing about that.

But yeah, I wouldn't mind writing about that. Thanks, I just thought about all those people who write big long charactor histories for their avatars, and I want to do it too, but I want it to be intresting, and readable, and epic, instead of just a bland map of the persons life. I need to improve my dramatic charactorization ability anyway. I can't wait to see what you have to put up in that reserved spot.

I'm in for the writing orgy, x3; But if we all do stories of our avatars, they have to connect together someway at the end, yes?

Shalur I'm in for the writing orgy, x3; But if we all do stories of our avatars, they have to connect together someway at the end, yes? Well yes, and I would even go as far to say that they would connect during the story, mabye some of them would spend most of the story togeather, here in lies the complication, we would all need to learn how the other person acts before we wrote through their eyes. If it was my turn and had to write a scene where Jimmy interacts with Ph34r, I would have to get Ph34r's reaction down just perfect, because who's to say that if Jimmy bit her hand with his huge metal chompers wether she would say "ouch," or become sexualy turned on? Only Ph34r can tell me how her charactor acts, and it's my job to write somthing on base about her. To me this element is both scary and exciting, the ladder mainly because I want to see how people swallow the charactor I write.

Well, we could always figure out the story before we write, like, almost RP in a way, then redo it in parts based on our various writing styles.

I would want to read it and, maybe, figure out a way to weave myself into the story, as well, to see how well we can carry it. if you want to call it an rp, that's fine. I'm sure we can work some interaction in the words we use as we read the story through
