first off, i'd like to say hello to you beautiful new faces. VELCOME. O:<

sorry i've been away so long, though i'm not sure if i've been expected. but looking at the pending requests list i can see that i'm not the only one that's been wandering off! O:

well, i'm kinda stressed out right now and i need some honest crits.

i'm working on a comic with some writer dude (TPO SEKRIT) and whenever i show him the new preliminary sketches he's just like "oh wow that's great!" and it's kind of pissing me off that he isn't bashing me in any way. i mean, we plan to get this s**t published, what is he thinking?! also, i have to turn in my portfolio this month and i have only about 60/200 pages of sketches done. in addition to that, my art shop has a collective auction that's been scheduled to launch this week. to top it all off, all my s**t is looking terribly alike again.

here's the one i'm working on right now. must have some subtle, simple shapes like ovals or rectangles or triangles. it's due wednesday, with a bit of colour (click for a larger view):

short legs in the big picture or the study of her alone? in the big one i just kind of rushed through her because i was trying to get the composition down. i do see the shortness in that one. D:

When I draw with pencil, my led usually smudges all over the place, and so I have to draw with color pencils (No smudge!) but that means my lines are fat...
