~LittleAnna~ you should never kill an inocent child unless 1. you were raped that is it....you dont protect yourself then its your fault....not the baby's....how would you like it if you mother had an abortion with you? ~LittleAnna~ a person is a person...who cares about the science mumbo jumbo crap...from the time the sperm enters the egg and god (or whatever else you believe in) creates the baby....A PERSON REMAINS A PERSON....EVEN IF YOU LIKE A DAY OLD ITS STILL A HUMAN BEING PRO-LIFE...... and what is bumping? If science is crap, then why aren't we floating in space and able to breathe in space?

Well, I dunno about you guys, but I laughed. xD "And what is bumping?" -Perfect- touch. xD
Me and a couple of friends ganged up on a teacher last year in a discussion of abortion ^^;; Not like, attacking her or anyone's views, but just defending our views and explaining eachother and justifying our statements. xD It was pretty sweet.
Quite frankly, I wouldn't have an opinion if my mother aborted me because I wouldn't be alive. P:

Setar, just because you have one opinion, doesn't mean you are right and can laugh/cry at other people, or think they are stupid. (Although, she does seem to be a little confused. sweatdrop ) This is a touchy issue, because most of it is opinions. For example, the argument of when life begins. However, there are plenty of facts still. Many of them are covered up all hush-hush. For example, go and read some of the articles on this site: http://www.afterabortion.org/(Particularly the "Abortion and the Feminization of Poverty" article.) I bet almost all of you have never even heard of those things happening before. And why would anyone want to cover up things like that? Who knows. It doesn't seem to be benefitting anyone, least of all the women who had abortions.I'm sort of pro-life, sort of pro-choice. I would advise any woman strongly against abortion, and talk to her about these things, give her someone to talk to, someone who will support her, and just listen, rather than talk at her all the time, shoving opinions down her throat. She would be free to make up her own mind, and wether she chooses to abort the baby or not, I would still support her and her descision, even if I think that descision is wrong. I would support her after she has an abortion or the baby is born too, the lack of which seems to be the reason why most women have an abortion; they don't have any promise of support if they have the baby. In other words, I would give her a choice. Telling her what's you think is best for her and her baby, and then not giving her any other option is not choice.

If depression is caused, it's likely because the woman has been guilted by the crazies outside the clinic screaming at her that she's a murderer.

D: you know I wonder if it's easier for guys to just say yes or no
I've tried to look at things as if I were a mother to be and was faced with that choice.
;___; it's scary. So much to think about.

Lord Setar http://imnotsorry.net Not to mention, I believe that "Abortion causes depression" and such has been disproven scientifically. If depression is caused, it's likely because the woman has been guilted by the crazies outside the clinic screaming at her that she's a murderer. Uh, no. Sorry, but severe depression is not caused by someone shouting at you once. (And yes, anyone who just shouts at people having an abortion is crazy. That's not going to do anyone any good at all.) Show me the evidence it has been disproven. And tell that to a woman who has gone through hell and back because of an abortion she was forced to have, because the only "option" she had was pro"choice" because no-one else gave her a way to do anything else. Yes, some women arn't affected by the experience. But notice a pattern on the stories on that website? They're mostly of women in a happy marriage, already with children, who actually have a choice. Most women are not so fortunate. I said I would give the woman a choice, and you come back with all this? And yeah KSTU, it's natural for a mother to be to want to protect that life inside her with everything she has. So of course it's easier for guys to sit back and judge.

angryfisheatenbycat Yes, some women arn't affected by the experience. But notice a pattern on the stories on that website? They're mostly of women in a happy marriage, already with children, who actually have a choice. Most women are not so fortunate. You know, If I look at my life right now and say, hypothetically speaking If OD and I suddenly are expecting a baby, I honestly can say I am in NO situation to support that child. D: I have almost no money. My parents can't afford to help me much, or the rest of my family. I'd have to quit school. OD would have to find a better paying job. I'd have to quit work eventually as well. Quitting school means paying all those student loans. I have no house. I'd have to either stay at OD's or my home which is super crowded as it is. The child would be in a very crowded environment and would probably rarely see OD if he's a hard worker. Would this child grow up to be a funtional person? Or would they be all emo and spiteful because their parents couldn't support them correctly. D: that's just the tip of the iceburge really. So much more to think about. I wouldn't want to give up something like that. I KNOW that's a human being. I KNOW THAT! Do people think the woman doesn't know that? Maybe some don't. But I know I do. Blah blah blah I dont' want to talk about this anymore. I'm not even good at debates in the first place. I can't even rememer what I was trying to say.... Whatever, I'm just imagining myself in the situation and I'm torn apart. I still can't decide. D: blah I'm gonna go roll in cheese or something now
