When I first saw David Bowie it was in the Movie Labyrinth. And too tell the truth I thought he was a girl. But then I fell in love with him and it's my favorite movie even today.
David has been in other movies too. Such as the Man who fell from Earth.
So did anyone see these movies, or more? Anyone one else first see him in Labyrinth?

I saw him first in Labby and instantly fell in love! the wonders that film has done for him- at least for introducing the younger generations to him!
I have also seen Man who fell to Earth, The Hunger and Merry Christmas Mr Lawrance (I think thats all the ones ive seen!)

I love Labyrinth. It wasn't the first time I'd heard of him, but it was what sent me over to the Bowie side. twisted
I've also seen The Man Who Fell to Earth and The Hunger. And Mr. Rice's Secret. And Basquiat.
He had one of the lead roles in the Hunger, and the starring role in Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence. I haven't had luck in finding that movie; I've read that it's his best acting performance, aside from the time he performed The Elephant Man live on stage way back when. (I wish there was a way I could see that, too.) There's also the Linguini Incident, but I haven't seen that one either. Yet.
Mr. Rice's Secret was a family movie, kind of too sweet, and Bowie plays a wise next door neighbor to helps out a little boy. A bit too much love and good feeling, but still. It's David Bowie.
And Basquiat rocks. He plays Andy Warhol. Go see it now!! mrgreen

Of the films he's been in, I've only seen: Labyrinth, The Man Who Fell to Earth, and The Last Temptation of Christ. Did you know he played Pontius Pilate in The Last Temptation of Christ? I almost died laughing.

There's a place in the dark where the animals go, You can take off your skin in the cannibal glow. Juliet loves a bead and the lust it commands. Labyrinth is what got me into Bowie. And I am enternally in love with that movie. It ish my favorite and shall remain my favorite... Squee. Drop the dagger and lather the blood on your hands Romeo. I've really been on a bender and it shows, So why don't you blow me a kiss before she goes?

I went to Future Shop to Buy the Labyrinth Movie [I'm 17] and I asked the Guy there for help he was all like, Oh buying stuff for your dad? I was like, Pushaw-No-For Me, Like Duh.
He gave me this look and said why do you want a crappy movie like that. I Left >< Stupid FS. But I finally completed my Labyrinth movie collection. Stupid VHS had two covers available, and I only had one. I Hunted Ebay down till I Found It.
And Now I'm Happy.
