So like because my library is stupid and I read Incubus Dreams before Narcissus in Chains and Cerulean Sins, I didn't get the spoilers. And fell in love with Micah. Because like, I like him alot. So I died when I found out he was sterile because I read the possibilities of Anita being pregnant in Danse Macabre (has anyone heard the song?). So yea. I balled my eyes out for an hour after reading that little quote in Narcissus.

You're upset that Micah's sterile and that LKH wrote it that way. I guess I can understand that, but here's the big thing. Anita has a body temperature closer to a lycanthrope than a human, that was specified a few times in the books as well as that a woman who has lycanthropy, excepting something that is passed down through generations such as swanmane/maiden or serpents (because they have the choice to bear their child in a reptilian manner), is almost 100% unable to have a child and most of those children are stillborn or don't last more than a few days, but most women miscarry before the fourth month (I think that's what was said). Chances of Anita having a child are pretty slim.
On a side note it could be Nathaniel's and I absolutley adore him. heart

I believe Anita's human blood will be able to keep the baby. At the end of Micah the doctor said that she was a carrier for the lycanthrope syndrom, not that she had it so it's possible she could still carry a child.
Now for Micah, someone said in the other thread that he could have been fixed with his lycanthrope blood, the same way it happened with that psychotic guy ripped off his nose.
So...it can be possible. 3nodding

I hope LKH doesn't go down that road... although it is a distinct possibility considering she had him grow his nose back.

On a side note it could be Nathaniel's and I absolutley adore him. heart The only reason lycanthropic women are unlikely to have children is the instability of their bodies brought from their monthly shifts. Since Anita doesn't actually shift, this problem is ruled out. However... there's always the fact that she tends to run around killing things and getting sent to the hospital... repeatedly...
