The winds of something beginning were fluttering across the Kusini lands as Tisha made her way towards her den. She could still feel his eyes upon her form as he spoke to her for the first time in many months. Yet, she was unable to explain to him about Tafari, the one thing the two had created. Instead, she was silenced by his words, but the announcement that he too had caught a reminescent of the plague. In only a few moons, Runako would be gone.
They had spent all day together, remembering the old times and creating some new memories she would always cherish. He seemed to be so nice and protecting, keeping her safe and taking his time to move through the steps. When the time came for him to leave, she knew it would be her last goodbye. It had been that one word that echoed through her mind as he raced into the woods to find someplace safe. For the good of the race.
Pausing with her thoughts as well as her steps, Tisha let out a shakey breath as she knew, deep down, something was growing. It had been a week since she disappeared, having returned only to tell her sons that she would be taking a trip. Having to deal with the death of her first love, she couldn't bare showing Tafari all the pain she was in. Hopefully, things wouldn't be as bad this time around.
Finally making it back to the dens, she composed her stature before looking around for a sign of her family. She had some news to share, and hopefully this time she would get others to help her through the pains.

Asi was thankful to be away from his family for a while, sometimes he felt that it was all he was surrounded by. In a way he missed being on his own, back when he was much younger and enjoyed arguing with Ari. Back when he'd 'hated' her, as well as the rest of the lion race. He chuckled softly to himself, at least then he got to meet a few strangers now and then. It was funny what you took for granted now and then. He was just headed in a random direction, but he caught Tisha's scent on the wind. Something about it was different, and vaguely famaliar.
Though Asi was often too slow in thinking to come to conclusions, at least when it delt with things like how another smelt different. He headed toward the other female, it was a shame he didn't get to know her too well still. But since the second litter was growing he supposed he could reaquiant himself with others. She was toward the dens, which was a little unlucky for the king. If his family needed him he'd have to leave right away, not that it was bad thing that his family often needed him, just tiring.

When it appeared that everyone was out, Tisha turned back and moved to one of the few rocks that were scattedered around to settle upon. Jumping up to it, she fell down onto her belly and let out a long sigh. Things seemed to be moving quickly, and everything that had happened pushed down on her just than. She could almost feel her lungs lose all the air, and try as she might, he breathing became labored.
Shutting her eyes tightly, Tisha took a few moments to catch her breath, feeling her lungs scream as she did so. Shaking her head, she opened her bi-colored eyes and sniffed lightly, the passing of the panic attack giving her senses a jolt. It was then she caught sight of a coming figure, and she moved to sit up suddenly, tilting her head to the side before realizing it was the king. Moving from the rock, she waited on the ground with her eyes lowered. Just like him, she felt like she hardly knew the lion who made his way towards her form.

He cringed inwardly as she moved from the rock she'd just gotten up on, he didn't want her to leave her comforts just because he was approaching. Oh well, too late to tell her not to move. His mane blew lightly about his face, his lids lowering slightly. "Geh, yeh did no 'ave teh move." He greeted, giving her a friendly smile.
" 'Ow be yeh, Tisha? Long time no see, ter be 'onest." It was true, Asi felt bad about how little he saw anyone besides Ari and the new litter. In it's way the new litter was just as hard to take care of as the old litter, if for different reasons.

Shifting lightly, she glanced up with her bi-colored eyes to the lion who ruled the pride. As he greeted her, she felt her ears flatten and she glanced to the side a moment later.
"It is alright, I wasn't confortable anyways..." She murmered lightly, ears perking again as he spoke up once more.
"I have been alright, Hasidi has taken on really well to these lands since I brought him here...Tafari is helping to raise him until he can decide on his own..." Pausing, she wondered if Asi knew what she was talking about, and blinked a moment, "You know of Hasidi...right?"

Hasidi? He racked his brain quickly, though he didn't think he had a clue about him. It must have been an orphan cub? Maybe. Ari probably mentioned something about it when he wasn't in one of his 'pay attention' moods. "Eh, oh aye... I do believe tha' Ari mentioned summit like tha, though I 'ave no met 'im." He said carefully. Yes, that sounded like a good response. His tail curled around his paws as he slowly sat, ears twitching.
"Bu' it be soundin' like yeh be doin' good." He concluded, eyes shifting toward the sky.

Tisha just watched the king before smiling at his responce. She figured he had not even met her newest son yet, which was something she would fix at a later time. For now, Hasidi was fine making friends on his own, it was easier for the young juvenile to do so.
"Sometime soon I will have Tafari and Hasidi pay a visit to the new family, it is time for them to meet all of the royalty." She told him lightly, the smile still fixed upon her maw. Nodding at her next comment, she added softly again.
"How have you been, Asi?"

Asi nodded slowly. Yeah, he probably should have been showing the cubs around. They were starting to grow. "Aye, iss been a bi' borin' in these par's." He stated softly. Though he didn't know what would liven them up, he'd have to consult Ari.
"An' I be... a'righ." He said, after a moment. Tired, mostly. Though also a little tense from everything that had been going on, finding out about Denahi's family for real. Planning to take a trip to the pride lands. Sye and Uumi, as well as his grandson, were all missing. He didn't know where the hell they went off too, but they better come back. "A lil' bogged down by family problems." He said slowly, then grinned. "Bu' nothin' too bad."

She watched a moment before nodding slowly, her tail swinging back and forth.
"Everything will work itself out for the better..." She murmered, "Most find it hard, when the blood demands they must travel, to stay in one place. I am sure, no matter where your family runs, they shall return soon." Sure he had not spoken about his issues with the eldest siblings, but she had been there when they were Juveniles, as well as Ari had told her all about it.
"The pride is growing day by day, that must be a positive point in your life, to see the lions who you trust also trust you with their cubs..."

Asi smiled lightly, lounging on his side. Sometimes he wished he could sound as wise as some lions, like Tisha. She probably didn't even know she sounded wise, most lions were oblivious about that kind of thing.
His left ear twitched and realization of that scent had crawled into his mind. It was faint yet, so he still wasn't sure. But the talk of cubs had probably helped prod it along. "Aye travelin' do run strong in this blood." He murmered, though he thought that Denahi would be staying away, only his middle daughter would be heading back this way. And who knew where Tamu was?

She sent him another soothing smile before her eyes trailed once more out into the forests. It seemed as if Asi was a little disappointed in his family, though she knew that would never be the case. The lion, though she hardly knew much about him, seemed to be one who had pride in his family. Every impression she had of him was positive, and she knew he shouldn't worry like he did.
"Maybe your youngest will enjoy spending time at home? They already do seem content with the lands around them..." Isoke, who she had met breifly, seemed to rather protect her family than think about seeing the world. The young cub loved the land around her, just as Tisha did, and hopefully so did the other cubs.

Asi nodded slowly. "Aye, they do seem ter like it 'ere..." He left out the part of how much his first three had loved their birth home. But it was a place that Asi and Ari had never considered staying. "An' wha of yer boy, does 'e like it 'ere? Both of 'em?" Asi was kind of curious of how some of the younger members felt of this land, if some would rather leave it or not.

Tisha pondered the question over slightly, before a seepish smile crossed her maw. Tafari was a hard one to read, though she had made it through by knowing him every day of his life.
"My eldest, Tafari, appears to enjoy it here...though sometimes I think he just spends time in these lands because of me. He misses so much by staying inside of these lands, always insisting on being by my side. Hasidi, on the other hand, loves it here. I think it might have to do with his past before I met up with him..." Thinking on it some more, Tisha realized just how much lack of knowlage she had on her sons' opinions.
Sighing lightly, she kept her gaze on the woods, and wondered what her sons would think about the news she would bring. That topic always seemed to play through her mind.

Asi's gaze flicked to what she was staring at, before realizing he probably wouldn't be able to see what she was looking at. "Thank yeh fer sharin' tha' infermation." He said, because it was helpful even though she seemed a little unsure here and there. He wondered if Tafari would ever venture out of the lands?
"So bein' a parent 'as the lil' buggars always on yer mind, eh?" Or maybe it was just him, but he doubted it. Kids were trouble and he'd thought that long before he and ari... well had their first three. But asi had also come to the conclusion that they had been well worth it.
