The Satah *Snug* Woow, that sucks. Crappy way to break up with someone. <_< My girlfriend dumped me on a Gaia journal. xD <3
Good luck on finding someone. x3 You deserve it. <3 sad That's not a nice break up, either Satah! *returns hugs* Thanks for the good wishes. heart As long as we're talking about break ups... I don't know if I told you guys or not. My first boyfriend... well, I broke up with him after the relationship hurt more than it than should have. He got really mad and went psycho on me, grabbing my neck and pushing me down on a table. He kept screaming, "I hate you! I hate you!" over and over again. He had his weight against me so I couldn't get away and his grip on my neck was so tight I could barely breathe. Luckily, a classmate of mine pushed him off of me and protected me from him until our teacher showed up. I ended up not saying anything about it in embarrassment. I later told my mom about it, but it was too late to do anything. From how all of this sounds, I seem almost deserving of this treatment in some way, don't I? But I'm a good person... I promise! I just think I'm too nice and I get myself into bad situations because of it. sad

I"m serious, but wheater (sp?) I'm mature or not, I leave up to others.
Hey, at least he did it in person. My ex did it over computer, but it wasn't even her, it was her freind that wanted to bang me that had to tell me. Rather confusing. And irritating.xD
But, hey. I wouldn't say to "stick to the other guys" and don't pull that younger s**t on me, you can't judge all guys that are younger then you are on one ex boyfreind, hmm? And when he did cry, I don't think that was really all that staged. But, hey you know him much better then I do. But did you not say, earlier in this guild before the breakup that he was 'great, had alot of patience for dealing with you,' something like that? Remember the good qualities of the person, even if they did breakup with you in a way you think was unfair.
Good luck with relationships in the future. :3

Aww, Ipo! *hugs* I'm sure you'll be able to find a better guy than that. I haven't told anyone, but that's what I did. :3 My ex is a jerk. I never noticed before, but he has a new girlfriend every other week. He left me for a druggy/preppy chick who ended up getting pregnant with someone else. Now, I'm perfectly happy with someone else, while more than half of the school hates him. I'm sure there are better guys in college, but don't give up on guys younger than you. Give them a few years to grow up, then maybe they won't be as foolish. *doesn't think she helped any* x.o

This is why men are better. xd And I don't mean age neccessarily, although obvioulsy an 8 year old boy is not a man... razz because some 40 yr old males still act like boys in the whole maturity area. xp
Also, it is different when you're still a teenager as compared to when you're older; guys take longer to catch up, but they do eventually. (This is of course speaking about the majority of females and majority of males; there are of course going to be some the other way round.) And the difference in ages gets smaller as you get older too.
In fact, my dad is one year younger than my mum, and they're happily married for at least 20 years now. ^^ Although, one year is barely anything.
I'm really sorry to hear this though Ipo. *hugs* No-one deserves to be messed around. Glad to see you've got a very positive attitude on the whole thing. Keep that up, and I hope you meet the man of your dreams soon. Bear in mind though; he may well come as someone you weren't expecting to be perfect for you at all. So it's best not to keep a list... wink

But I'd like to be with a guy who knows when it's an appropriate time to act like an adult, and when it's fine to loosen up a bit and act like a kid. Thanks for the help and hugs. whee The list is just what my dream guy would be like... I'm not so a**l as to not consider anyone that doesn't fit the list perfectly. Although, I do want to keep my standards high. wink

I'm a man! surprised But y'all can't have me. talk2hand
Seriously, though. The nice guys end up being the platonic male friends to which you complain about not being able to find nice guys whilst dating assholes. xd Date friends, seriously. It's so much easier to tell if you'll be a match.
Shima was my bestest-best friend before we started going out, and every lasting relationship needs a good foundation of friendship.
Good luck with your search for someone, Ipo. Take solace in the fact that you've nowhere to go but up now. xp

*hugs tightly* I'm so damn sorry that happened to you >_<
Seriously, you never think it could happen to you(or one of your friends/communitymates/SUTFmates) but then it does. And of course you don't want it to. Here's to hoping that you find someone better than that =D
My first relationship was a bust on my part, I was a bit too clingy and still had(kinda) anger management problems. Plus we were under strain from our classmates and I was ridiculed for it until I thankfully changed school districts. However, Telor is correct in the friends thing - me and my ex were good friends after we broke up and were apart for a while due to summer and then me being in high school.
Oh, and damn you Americans and early summer. I dun get out until mid June, so I'm going to be in a slowcooker while you have your airconditioned homes. Damn budget cuts...

I'm usually closer with my guy friends than with my girl friends. And I also believe that relationships that form from friendships are the best relationships of all. You're lucky to have such a great relationship. Best of luck to you and Shima. whee Thanks for the good wishes. heart
