Sorry if this is a repeat thread - I looked but I couldn't find anything that looked similar, although I may have missed it if there is. Sorry. redface
Anyway, I've just been on the official GD site for like the first time ever and I clicked on this link that said 'Message From Billie', thinking it would be a written message or something.
I found out it was an audio message, however, when suddenly Billie's voice blared out at me from my speakers - quite loudly, too. eek
Obviously, it was really cool to just hear him talking instead of singing, but the thing is...his voice isn't anything like I thought it would be!
He actually sounds rather geeky and almost annoying... not really sexy at all.... crying
I'm actually freaking out now because there are audio messages from Tre and Mike too but I'm scared to click incase they sound freaky too...
Just wanted to know what you guys thought...

Wahhh!!
I overcame my fear and listened to a few more messages...
And I take it all back! Billie J's voice is actually quite attractive...
Tre sounds weird though, strangely I expected him to be quite squeaky.
Mike still remains unheard............. *there is no emoticon for 'worried anticipation'*

Because I've only been listening to their music for about four months now and it only just occured to me today that they would have a website....
*spazzy retarded moment* gonk
But I know what you mean, Billie's voice has grown on me and now I adore it! Super super uber sexy! heart
Tre' is an absolute blast, I've read about him in interviews but I never thought he'd be so fantastically BONKERS!
I now love Green Day more than ever, and it's so great!!! xd
Oh, and I heard Mike. He's disturbing. domokun I thought he'd have a pretty deep voice. But he's funny, so I don't mind.

I love Billie's voice! But I guess I'm just a sucker for nerdiness!
Mike's voice is okay. He's got a good debating voice. He enunciates. 3nodding

It sounds very professional, like he knows what he's talking about. Billie sounds like he has a lisp or something, probably because of all the stuff he's done- it's torn at his mouth (smoking stuff) But God knows I still love Billie's voice no matter how it sounds. I suppose it's a well-known fact and I don't know it cause I'm a stoopid noob....*sniff* crying
I feel like I'm somehow less of a true fan cause I don't know all those little things that all you guys do... Geez, coffee makes me depressed.
I'm going to shut up now and continue listening to their messages.

When I first heard those mesages I was a bit surprised. They didn't sound quite how I imagined they would at the time. I've gotten used to their voices now. *shrug*

Mike's voice is still freaking me out... Even though I KNOW it's not, I keep imagining him with a deep voice, kinda like the dude from Franz Ferdinand, but without the Scottish accent...if you can imagine that. sweatdrop
