"No Rose! Stay back!"
"Why are you standing on a chair?" Rose asked confused looking around the London flat. There was nothing to be seen around him to stay back from. It was just your typical living room in a inner-city apartment; cramped with a sofa on one wall, coffee table in front, TV in the corner, and the Doctor standing on a chair between the table and TV; having to duck to stop himself from hitting his head on the grey ceiling and probably make more plaster fall off.
"Don't you see it Rose?!" He screamed terror-struck.
"No, see what?" She asked calmly.
"There, on the rug!" The Doctor pointed down at the blue flower patterned, red mat.
Rose looked down and saw a small black thing with eight legs, "That it?" She asked laughing. "Is it an alien trying to take over the earth by means of crawling up to people and frightening them to death, or is it going to eat us?"
"Well you never know! Actually it's from this planet." He then cringed as it took a step forward.
"So that's a normal, everyday London spider?"
"Yes, but it's got all of it's eyes on me!"
Rose broke out laughing, "it probably is thinking what's that stupid alien doing on a chair."
"Well. KILL IT THEN!!"
"I'm not killing it. Poor little thing," she said between laughs, and every time she almost stopped she started again with one look at the Doctor. "Oh honestly your useless you are, you fight evil aliens for a living and your afraid of a spider. What you like?"
"I can't help it, this regeneration has an irrational fear of them."
"Oh all right." Rose bent down and picked up the spider and threw it out the window. "There, it's gone."
The Doctor got off the chair and hugged her, "see that's why I have you, to get rid of things with eight legs."
She couldn't help but laugh, and hug him back, then kissed him on the cheek, "all right lets go somewhere with out any spiders then." They broke apart and walked out of the flat hand in hand, the door closing behind them.
"AHHH SPIDER!!"
"Doctor!"

Chapter Two -- Oopps???The Doctor and Rose headed down the street at a fast pace, and stopped in front of a blue box, "Come on Rose we have no time!"
"But..."
"If we don't get to Manchester right now something disastrous is going to happen!"
"Yes but...."
"No time for buts!" The doctor pushed the door open and shoved Rose inside, barely registering the crashing sound; he shuffled in and closed the door, only to be met face to face with Rose, in the dark, in a very cramped confined space, with traffic cones, tape, wires, and such everywhere. "Em.... this isn't right.."
"I tried to tell you. The TARDIS is across the street, this is a police box," Rose explained calmly as if she where talking to a child.
