((Trinityblue, ShortGreen, possibly Ice Queen))
"Why couldn't we take a cab or something?" whined the little voice in Jack Bierce's ear, its owner neatly hidden by the collar of a tattered leather jacket.
Jack snickered, careful to keep it low and hidden. "Why should you care, lad?" he murmured under his breath. "You've got a ride no matter what."
"But it's totally wrong. It's... Unnatural. What kind of freak are you that you don't drive?"
Pausing at the bottom of a garden, Jack squinted at a mailbox to check the number. "The kind you're stuck with," he replied, completely unperturbed. "I just don't fancy cars an' they don't fancy me right back. You wanna get here in one piece, right? Stop your whinging."
Brunswick huffed, peevishly giving it enough force that he knew Jack would feel dampness on the back of his neck. When his bond didn't respond to the taunt, he closed his eyes and curled up tighter against the coat collar. "Fine, then. Wake me when we're there."
"Right, then." Jack set to walking again, this time up the walkway to the house. Just before he pressed the button for the doorbell, he beamed innocently, unseen by his feien. "We're heeeere."

Brunswick immediately forgot his plan to once more pinch Jack's ear to redness in punishment at the noise and the voice. He crept out from behind the collar to stand on Jack's shoulder, eyes wide. "That's... That was an explosion," he whispered, awed.
"Mmhm," agreed his bond. "Somethin' kinda big, too, by the sound o' it. I hope Trin's alright."

Pushing off Jack's shoulder, Brunswick launched himself at Bavaria, catching her around the waist in a bear hug. "You're okay!" he announced. "Except for being bloody stupid. Can't be helped. Show me around?"
Jack shook his head, rolling his dark eyes at Trinityblue in amused resignation to their feien's ways. Then he reached into the deep pocket of his jacket and pulled out a little paper bag and an amazingly-uncrushed handful of daisies. With a little teasing bow, he presented both to her. "Well, you did say we could stop on by, right?"

Brunswick whistled long and low as he landed beside his sister and eyed her home. "This is pretty nice," he said. "Good and private, even." He touched a hand to the wall and then the porch they stood on. "Did you do this up yourself?"
Back at the door, though, Jack was far less respectful and simply laughed kindly, shrugging as he stepped through the door. "My mum would kill me if I didn't," he explained. "She's big on manners an' all. Prob'ly 'cause my da's not. Anyway, you looked like flowers an' cookies, somehow."

"-Excellent-." Brunswick fluttered down to stand on the floor of his sister's new home and looked around with appreciation. "You're getting really, really good at that forming stuff, BeeVee. And Trinityblue lets you snag stuff from her lab?"
Almost puppy-like, Jack followed his hostess into her kitchen. His brown eyes were teasingly hopeful and pleading. "Tea? Do I haveta renew the proposal?"

Her brother nodded, sweetly oblivious to her little "secrets". Then he padded over and crouched down to inspect one of the chairs. Next, he pushed down on the seat speculatively, head tilted. "Strong," he finally announced. "You keep this up and I'll have to find my own talents so you don't lump me in with deadweight." His grin showed perfect humor; he was relaxed. All was right in the world. His sister was safe and they had ditched the bonds for a bit.
"Tea's tea," Jack answered gallantly. "Hot, sweet, and milky, pet. Ta muchly." He slid into a seat and watched her move about, head tilted a bit. With her back to him, he could safely study her without forcing her into more blushes; she seemed on the shy side of things. It was a treat, really, a nod in the direction of his own curiousity and incessant male-ness but he never wanted her squirming so... Take what you get, pretty much.

"Yeah, sure!" Brunswick immediately flew up to the door and out, standing on the porch impatiently. "Are you really putting in guns?"
Reaching out, Jack pulled mug and accessories towards him and began to absently fix his tea in preparation for the hot water. "Not bad. The bus brought us most of the way an' it was just a bit o' a walk from there." Focused, he measured out sugar before offering up his mug for the kettle. Then he smiled and his face went from faintly broody to downright handsome. "You really do live in a bit o' nowhere," he added.

"Um, just make sure they know who Jack and me are, okay? BeeVee?" Brunswick followed her, eyebrows raised as images of swiss cheese Jack entered his mind.
Jack laughed lowly and picked up a spoon to stir his tea. "Right, then," he said. "Show me up for my lack o' chivalry. I'd've offered you a ride 'cept I don't have a car an' can't drive. I should've given you a bus schedule or somethin' at least, huh?"
