Okay, this is always the WORST problem for me. I'm about 45 min away from the beach, which means everywhere you go to buy a swimsuit never carries good one pieces. Or any, really. The ones I find are like the "Make yourself look 5 lbs skinnier!" and they make me look 5 lbs fatter. So any suggestions?

Mormon_Seebs thrift store?i usually wear trunks or boxers over mine anyway same, same. on both accounts. also, try wal-mart. i know they suck, but they sell a lot of one piece suits there. if you want something more upscale, try a department store like penney's or dillard's. i always see one piecers in those places.

Don't know that this'll work for everyone (certainly doesn't work for me, who lives just about as far away from "The Mormon Corridor" as you can and still be in North America) but I loooooved their swimsuits. I'm still thinking of having it sent to my family in the States and begging them to ship it to me. smile http://www.modbeclothing.com/

Dillard's has a lot of really nice ones, last time I looked... However, I live in a land-locked state, so hey *shrug*

Well, I got mine at Costco last year. It's not all cute and stuff, but it works for me. Oh and I usually wear some board shorts too.

You might want to try a sports-clothing store. They would, of course, carry one-piece swimsuits because that's what proffessional swimmers wear when they race and stuff. It would be a very bad idea to wear a bikini and dive of the diving board... That would cause some problems... HENCE! The one piece swimsuits. And along with that, I like to get guys' swim-shorts. They're long and they're really cool. Hope that helps.

Hey you are all really helpful, thanks! So I'm not the only one thats not like on a quest for an actual one-piece... sad how hard it is to find stores that sell them. I think I'll go with another one from a sports store again, those are usually pretty good.

I went to walmart one time last summer and found a really cute appropriate one piece swim suit there. Why not give it a try, you may find something that you like.
