so as the story that most people have probably head goes. before phantom of the opera the musical premiered in 1986 there was a music video made for the love theme. the song is changed from that in the musical but it basically traces the steps of how things play out in the story. i was just wondering if anyone has seen that video? Sarah Brightman is the lead soprano vocalist in it but i don't know who the guy is that is singing the role of the phantom. its not Michael Crawford.
if you haven't seen it. Message me on my msn and i will try to send it to you. i have it downloaded onto my computer. its a must see especially for those of you who don't think christine and Raoul should have gotten together. she totally snubs him in the Video! i love it!
and in my most resent searches i have found Sarah Brightman and Antonio Banderas singing together the phantom theme which was very hot i must say
and an anime techno version of a phantom Video which is really cool!
has anyone seen any others?

angel_of_joy the anime techno one is really really cool! You mean the one, from the anime "Vampire hunter D" ..? Yeah i've got it on my computer and the phantom of the opera just perfectly fits the story. heart

Well, I got a music video of Sarah brightman singing PotO with Antonio Bandaras.
I gots them off LimeWire.
I'll try to look for the Vampire Hunter D one.
What I like to see is the Phantom movie music video to 'Holding Out For A Hero' from Footloose.

I heard about a couple of music videos made for POTO when the musical first came out...I think Steve Harley may have sung the male part for any of that. He was originally hoping to play the phantom, but the ALW decided to cast Crawford (sounds vaguely familiar...). Crawford was actually disappointed to be cast as the phantom because it meant he had to play the older, unattractive man. Originally he wanted to play Raoul since he gets the girl in the end, but he came to love the part of the phantom.

Heck, I woldn't mind if Crawford was Roaul when I play Christine. wink
