12.1.2006: I've finally come to terms with the fact that I really dislike the way I characterized Remi. I know I can do much better than her, and therefore have had her disappear to make way for a new guardian character that I've actually spent time developing.
1.7.2007: New year means new layout. I'm giving this journal a much needed makeover over the next week or so.
Do not steal any art or graphics from this journal.
Just in case this ever becomes a norm, feel free to leave gifts so long as it isn't interrupting an RP.
Please ask my permission before posting, unless of course you are another guardian.

Clothing: Anything that hasn't been destroyed beforehand by his antics. His shirts all have holes cut in the back for his wings to move freely
Personality: Gavin is very--well, Gavin. He's a very curious little boy who can neither back down from a challenge nor deny himself the excitement of adventure. So far he's proven himself to be quite the escape artist, leaving the metaphorical nest both with and without Remi's knowledge. Though, I don't think she knows of nearly half his little escapades.
Like his mother, Gavin also has that notorious 'need-to-please.' Making people happy let's him be happy. On many an occasion, he has been known to give out free hugs whether or not the hug-ee asked for one. He also likes being the hero, and will do anything to make someone proud of him. Right now his main source of praise comes from Haki, who he seems to play with a lot more than the other toddlers. However, this hero complex makes him quite oblivious to other things, such as Haki's world-dominating tendencies. As far as he knows, she is the ruler of the world, and he doesn't mind one bit.
Gavin likes messes. A lot. He can never leave an area unscathed by his work. Bounding from one disaster to another, he has succeeded in breaking not one, but two of Marc's priceless items. Dacian has a nice, circular tomato sauce stain on his wall. Natalie had to clean root beer out of her carpet. Hadrian had to clean up his vomit. Remi had to deal with him draping toilet paper across his room.
Oh yes, and he likes dog food for some apparent reason.
If there's something Gavin doesn't like, he does the only thing a frightened bird would do...fly away. Except that he can't fly yet, as much as he'd like to try. So, instead of flying he runs. Fast. Running like all hell's after you fast. This type of fleeting usually happens around bathtime, but it has also been known to happen when Remi offered him dry fruit. Still, he'd like to think he could fly away, and ends up bounding off random furniture in the process to try. Naturally, this ends in disaster...unless Hadrian's around to catch him.
So Gavin in three words: rambunctious, curious, and 'heroic.' All of these are understatements. He has yet to grow into the silent, dignified personality of the hawk, but all hawks started out as rambunctious chicks at some point. Just know that if you ever have chance to run into him, hide all your valuables and pull out the cleaning supplies early.
Likes: Fluffy things, colors, his feathers, other peoples' feathers, hugs, touching things he's not supposed to, friendly people, Hawk Man, being the 'hero'
Dislikes: Things that bite him, graham crackers, bathtime, creepy people, being ignored

  Ball of Energy: Here's little Gavin as a little ball of energy. I'd only seen him very briefly at this stage, so there's not much to say other than he's very orange.
Toddler: Oh dear, Gavin has grown into a very handsome little toddler. Hopefully he doesn't get too full of himself during his early years...

"Hawk (bird), common name for more than 250 species of small- to medium-sized predatory birds. Changes to appearance: (only applies to roleplayed changes - for example, if it was rped that a teen soul went to a tattoo parlor and got a tattoo. You can't just say 'give blablabla' this tattoo - it has to rped)
Suggestions: (If you have a preference, it's just a suggestion for clothing and hairstyle. This one isn't neccessary, it's just for if you were wanting a little thing, like the Soul to have long hair or short hair. Just keep in mind that this isn't set in stone - the artist has the choice of whether to take the advice or not)
