The Earth Temple

Hidden in the Mourning Peak Mountain range, the Earth Temple is reached by descending stone stairs into the very heart of the tallest mountain. Upon reaching the foot of the stairs, one finds themselves in a large cavern. A natral pillar stretchs from the floor of the cavern to the roof, and carved into it's base is a doorway. Unsealed stone doors that are engraven with chaoticly swirling patterns, the Earth Temple itself seems to be a little bleak, if not dusty. Carved into the smooth walls of the cavern are images depeicting Dreams of all types, their names long since forgotten and lost.

Entering the temple itself, the true beauty of the temple is revealed. Gems of all types have been fitted together in swirls and paisly type patterns. Glittering with their own inner light, they convert the inner sanctum into a vibrant rainbow of airy light. In the center of the temple, a large stone basin sits on a small dias. Lined with soft silk and pillows, it is here that hopeful Dreams rest when attempting to create small ones of their own.

Breeding Faq's

How do Dreams breed?

In essence, when two Dreams sleep together in the temple, the focused elemental energies aid in merging the seperate dreams of the two sleepers. What this accomplishes is the creation of enough energy that the merged dream actually takes on a physical form of a whisp. Over the course of the night anywhere from 3 to 9 whisps of dreams can be created. It is for this reason that gender is unimportant in the baby making process.

Are there any restrictions when breeding?

Usually it takes two to three days for whisps to be created. During this time your free to RP your pet, but I discourage entering the currently breeding pet in any Arena events. Once the whisps have been born you are free to do as you please.

Can I breed in multiple temples at the same time?

No. I'm sorry but I like to offer others equal chances at getting a breeding spot. If you are currently involved in a breeding in one temple you may not apply for a waiting list spot in that same temple. You may apply for a waiting list spot in another temple, but you may not breed yet until your current breeding is complete. By complete I mean that the whisps born through your breeding have reached the Aware stage.

Can I breed a Dream with another pet I have that isn't a Dream?

Yes! I am now allowing interspecies breedings to occur. These are special breedings that require permission from the owner of the shop of the non-dream pet. If it is approved then the pet type will be placed on a 'Allowed' list, if it is denied it will be placed on a 'Denied' list.

There is another requirement for this type of breeding to occur, a Catalyst stone! They are very rare and unlikely to be found very often, when they are they will be in the Castaway Dream Inventory Shop run by LC and Rune. Interspecies breedings have their own %'s for the breeding outcome.

When you breed your dreams, there is a % chance of each parents traits carrying over. The following are the %'s per catagory.

Color: 25% chance of colors and hue's of the parents carrying over.

Markings: 25% chance that if one parent has markings that it will carry over. 50% chance if both of the parents have markings. It should be noted that the markings the parents(s) have impacts minorly on what sort of markings the whisps will have.

Cosplay Features: 5% chance of carrying over. If both parents are Cosplay types the % is not raised, but rolled a second time for the second parents Cosplay type. Cosplay traits that carry over does not mean that your whisp will be an actual character from the Cosplay source. (During the breeding of Jack Sparrow there were two whisps with Cosplay features. Because of this they both were born wearing clothing and with a unique type feature from the Pirates of the Carribean movie. They were not Cosplays themselves.)

Yudou: 2% chance of a Yudoubeing born if neither parent is a Yudou. This chance is raised to 5% if one of the parents is a Yudou or Yudou type and raised again to 8% if both parents are of the Yudou type.

Blessed: 15% chance of whisps born in this temple to be blessed by the elemental source. The result is the whisp progressing into a Deejarne Dream based on the element of the temple. This % is raised to 25% if one of the parents is a Deejarne and 30% if both parents are Deejarnes. The element of the parents involved plays no part in what type of Deejarne is born.

Celestial: This trait can only be passed if one of the parents is already of the Celestial type. (Meaning a Celestial Crystal had been used on them) There is a 5% chance of the Celestial trait carrying over with one parent carrying the trait, and 10% if both parents are of the Celestial type providing the whisp is of a compatible nature.

Poison: This trait can only be passed if one of the parents is already of the Poison type. (Meaning a Venom Potion had been used on them) There is a 5% chance of the Poison trait carrying over with one parent carrying the trait, and 10% if both parents are of the Poison type providing the whisp is of a compatible nature.


Twins: 5% chance of twins being born. All twins are now treated as Fraternal so a second set of rolls is made for the twin being born. In this set of rolls it is possible for the whisp to make the Twins % roll, turning the twins into triplets. No more then triplets can be rolled together. Whether or not the parent(s) were twins plays no part in this roll. Twins are now broken up onto seperate certs, with the dream on the certs gender bold in it's place, and it's twins name and gender added in a faded out text.

Gender: 50/50 here folks. Odds and the dream is male, even and the dream is female for qualifying whisps.

Crossbreed: Currently there is only one type of Crossbreed avalible. The Dream/Fancie crossbreed. Why? Because Fancies are -extremly- versatile and flighty. Due to this they are the only dreams capable of producing mixed breeds rather then purebreds. There is a 50% chance that a breeding between a Fancie and a Dream will result in a Halfbreed. There is also a 25% chance the whisp will be a Fancie itself, and a 25% chance that the whisp will be a dream in unions of this type.

Nightmare: For some unexplained reason, Nightmares are now being born out of the temples!? There is a 25% chance of a Nightmare being born from non-nightmare parents. This % is raised to 50% if one parent is a Nightmare, and 75% if both parents are nightmares.

Mote: There is a 10% chance of a whisp attracting a Mote now! The Motes eggu will simply appear near to the whisp and fluttering around following it. Please remember, Mote eggs are the size of golf balls and should never be used for games of catch!

Disclaimer: There are certain types of percent match ups that can not be made. In the event of multiple unique match ups occuring, the trait with the highest roll will carry through. It should be noted that any Nightmare, Fancie, or Halfbreed that is matched up with a Blessing will assume a Deejarne form reguardless of the rolls. The following are the types of match ups that can not occur:

Celestial or Poison match up with Nightmare.
Celestial or Poison match up with Halfbreed.
Yudou match up with Fancie
Yudou match up with Halfbreed
