Earth Kingdom~ River Of Uyz
A huge river that extends from the south eastern shore of the Earth Kingdom to its tall mountains in the north. The river has plenty of forests along its length, and always has plenty of wildlife around it- and in it. A wonderfully healthy region, and the farmers around the river (and off shooting rivers) can farm year round to provide food for the many villages in the region.
Village Of Zanpaku: A nice peaceful village, mostly populated by sheep herders. This is a walled village which also holds the 'Honorable Hubby's Earth Bending Dojo'.

arrow Zanpaku village
Hubbard stood in his dojo, staring at the doorway of his home. The small home of his, which was dominated by a large sandy floor used for earth bending, was spartan by design. There wasn't any obvious signs that someone lived there, excusing the plate of nuts on a nearby table.
The earth bender walked forward, taking a step into the front yard of his home.

(I'm just going to mention now, before i forget. I've never really done a roleplay like this. (But i do know what Avatar is. I lubbs dat show. :'D) So if i sound totally stupid; forgive me. As you can tell, i'm not the brightest crayon in the tree. XD)
Milo layed on a tree with her head in her left hand. Milo was swaying her other hand in a figure eight motion, a few feet away from her, a small pebble was following the same movement. She sighed heavily, she then made a flicking motion, and the pebble rocketed into her face. She fell to the ground with a loud 'THUD'. "AUGH! STUPID ROCK!! YOU WENT THE WRONG WAY, AGAIN!!" she cried, rubbing her forehead. She looked in a nearby puddle of water and saw the large red mark on her forehead. She scowled and covered her forehead. "Rocks are stupid" She groaned.

"AUGH! STUPID ROCK!! YOU WENT THE WRONG WAY, AGAIN!!" Hubbard's ears twitched. A girl's voice rang through the small village, causing some cats to vacate their napping spots. Hubbard walked towards the fence of his dojo, where he then saw a girl laying beside a tree in obvious pain.
With all of his earth bending focus, the bender attempted to resist the violent urge to laugh.

Under the shade of a small oak tree lay Karen, who at a distance, looked to be no more then a fuzzy, grey, lump. She was completely enveloped in a worn blanket, one of the few valuables she had snuck of with the night she had left her house, only two or three days ago. As the angered shouts of Milo reached the young fifteen year old grumbled as she popped her head out from underneath the warm grey blanket, one green eye lazily peering out. "Who's making all that racket?" she wondered, with brown hair appearing next. It was unusual for Karen to be asleep so late in the day, but she had been traveling non-stop for a few days, and was tired. Not to mention too lazy to remove all the rocks from underneath her makeshift sleeping bag, something she regretted now that she was somewhat refreshed. She now opened her other eye, ice cold blue in color and spotted the person who had awoken her. Grumpily, she used her own earthbending to pick up a pebble and toss it at the girl. Of course, a mix of being sleepy and inexperience, the rock missed by more then a few feet. Karen sighed, mumbled something about crazy people and pulled her head back under the cloth, trying to go back to sleep.
{Ah, please tell me if I screwed anything up. I've never done an Avatar RP either so, yeah.}

Milo looked over and saw the man, he was obviously trying too hard not to laugh. She stood up, brushed herself off then folded her arms. "Teehee" she replied, in obvious sarcasm. She noticed a pebble fly by her face then looked over at the sloppy, grey looking thing. She walked over and hovered above it, "Oh, it's not a dead animal, it's a girl". She turned around and looked at the brown-haired man "HEY! Otchan! Is she supposed to be with you or something!?" She cried, pointing at her. ((**Otchan= Old man. XD
OH THE WIT!
I hope this dosen't offend either of you. nn;; -hit with bricks- ))

Hubbard looked over the stone fence of his dojo. His eyes went from one of the females, then to the other, looking at the similarities between them. Then he pointed up at a sign above the entrance to his home.
'Honorable Hubby's Earth Bending Dojo', was clearly read, and the large wooden sign had a smaller one attached to the bottom of it. The smaller sign, which had red writing on it, said that the dojo was providing room and board for a ground keeper. 'Non-earth benders need not apply' was placed in italics beneath the red kanji.

((@Dragon_daughter : Yeah. I totally agree. =D You did awesome for a first post!)) Milo looked at the man, then looked up in the direction he pointed and squinted. Her eyes widened and she ran over to the fence, nearly tripping in the process and grabbed the fence "EARTH BENDING DOJO!? AND YOU'RE THE OWNER!? I'm an earth bender, well at least i think i am! Teach me please, how much, please oh please!!" She yelled, throwing out words so fast they could barely be understood.

(Hehe, Thank you very much. ^__^ Alright from now on, I'll describe my hand motions and such, sorry about that ^^; )
Karen's head reapeared again during all the shouting. Looks like she wasn't getting sleep any time soon with these people about. With a sigh, she got onto her feet, rolling up her blanket and tucking it into the small pack on her right shoulder. As she was grumbling to herself about not getting enough sleep, her mind did an instant re-run of what the girl had just said. She blinked for a second before turning on her heels to face the dojo. This was what she had left home for, to hone her earthbending skills, and here she was, fell asleep at the front of a dojo. She mentally whacked herself for not noticing during the night she had arrive. Her eyes traveled to the red kanji beneath and grinned. Even better, they offered room and board for a grounds keeper. Her eyes also skimmed by the non-earth bender part but she disregarded that. After all, she was an earthbender, right? A beginner, she could only move small bits of dirt and pebbles... but that still counted. "Hey, can I apply for that ground keeper job?" she shouted up towards him.

Hubbard turned, and began to walk away from the two earth benders. His frame went side to side as he brought his right hand up. The hand that was in the air motioned for the two to join him in the dojo. Throughout the said simple movments he remained completely silent.
As he walked towards across the front yard of the dojo, Hubbard made his way around several large boulders that were implanted in the ground. Eventually, after a minute of walking, the Earth Bender reached the door. Turning then, he looked at the two girls that still remained just beyond the arched gatway, which had the sign still attached to it.

Milo watched the man walk across the front of his dojo, and caught the signal. "Well, i'll take that as a yes" she thought, tilting her head to one side. Milo looked back at the girl behind her, then she walked through the gate. She walked slowly around the boulders, aweing at the fact they were sitting there in the first place. Boulders? Boulders just lying around? They were probably there for some of the better earthbenders. She blushed in embrassment, the best she could do was pebbles. "Sudden inferiority complex" she muttered to herself.

His left ear twitched upon hearing Milo's comment of 'sudden inferiority complex'. Hubbard's eyes went to follow the young girl's eyes, and saw that her stares were directed at the stone tablets thrown hap hazardly around the yard.
The earthbender grunted. "My name is Hubbard. Some people call me 'Hubby the Huggable Human Halberd', or just 'Hubby', and sometimes the 'Huggable Man'." His bright eyes went out to the stones on his yard. "I need someone to clean up after lessons that I have here. Some of my pupils get.. Out of control, here and there." Another grunt came as he sat down on the doorsteps of the house.
"Think you're up for it, you two?" Then he noticed that both of the women had odd eyes. Both of them had their left eye different from their right one. Odd coincidence.

Milo directed her attention to the man, then looked at the boulders behind her "Out of control!? Yeesh! Thats being lenient" She muttered. When he finished she folded her arms, "Of course i'm up to it!" she bit her lip and strolled over to one of the boulders. As she stood infront of it she looked up, okaaaay... maybe she was being a LITTLE overconfident. She rubbed her hands together and took a few steps back, she pulled her left leg backwards and made a thrusting-push like motion with her hands and the boulder moved a little over an inch. Her arms fell down and she looked at the boulder, then at the man and laughed nervosly."MOVE YOU STUPID ROCK!" She grunted under her breath. She tried giving it a barehand push, and her feet slid on the ground and she fell down. She stood up and brushed herself off "Just a few more seconds of mental preparation" she shouted.

The Earthbender's light eyes went to the small lady, who seemed to be trying really hard. Hubbard shifted his right foot forward, sending a shiver into the ground below where Milo was. The boulder shifted, and rolled over, from his ankle's movement.

Milo lost her balance a bit from the shockwave of the boulder, but recovered. She stared, mouth agape at the boulder, then at the old earthbender. "Eh... uh... how'd... that... whuh!?" She muttered, looking at them back and fourth.
