Ok, I didn't want to do this cause i really didn't want to clutter the guild up with threads ((That's why I haven't been making threads))
But now it has come down to the point where
I am able to get to know you all on one of the MOST important subject to myself, Music.
I want to know what people have been thinking about, listening to, and what drives them to play ((If they play)).
I personally Listen to a Variety of music but I tend to dabble around the Rock, goth, punk, trance, rave, and alternative. Well, and Instrumental/Classical music.
So i want to learn what people like and discuss bands that they like, my music scene is growing via a website that my manager (I hired her, strange no?) and her husband run.
The Metal Observer - Metal, goth, rock, alternative, Doom, etc...
anyways, yes...

I listen to Avril Lavigne, and artists like her.. when I'm sad inside, but sorta happy outside. For happy uber uber happy times, I listen to lots of songs that I hear from animes, and some J-pop. Of course when I want to remain calm and work on something I listen to lots of classical or just instrumental music. But generally I just listen to Japanese songs, some english Pop ones, and also the occasional techno.
I'm confusing myself now X__X I listen to almost anything really lol, just lots of anime songs... and techno.. and pop.
O.O Am I repeating myself? I think so. I'll stop now.

Personally, I perfer industrial and grunge, maybe some numetal. Usually, I listen to Nine Inch Nails. Since NIN has made songs for every mood I've ever been in. When I'm bored, I'd probably listen to Slipknot. Then I just listen to Marilyn Manson, Nirvana, Shinedown, Flaw, and Tool randomly. Normally, I don't listen to music because of what I'm thinking or feeling at the moment. Then there is my Rocky Horror Picture Show and Phantom of the Opera soundtracks. I'm not in a band though, I have no musical skills (obviously).

I use to listen to more Nirvana and Marilyn Manson, then again I also listened Korn and Kittie as well. Not a very good phase of mine, musically.
Now I listend to just about anything I can find, that sounds decent. Some Dropkick Murphys, Radiohead, random pop and rock selections from the 50's through the 80's, Annie Lennox, the rare bit of Bif Naked, Beatles, Matthew Good [Band], and a few musical soundtracks (particularly Victor-Victoria). A lot of rock and metal just fail to interest me anymore. I guess they sounded better when I hardly slept or paid attention to anything other than whatever I was suppose to be concentrating on.

That's all good to know sofar everyone is listening to music that i like. though some of my main bands are diffrent. first of course is HIM, Finch, Thursday, Cold, Switchfoot, 30 seconds to mars. but now i have begun to gradutate into more worldly artists. for instance, I just recently learned of a band named Asgaard and I am quite pleased, though most of the words aren't quite understandable (Due to the fact that the voice blends with the music and that well, it's in another language, one that I don't know). but I truly am trying to vary my music tastes. and the website sure does help alot, though, Alex and Val are probly more helpful because they own copies of the music. ones that I may borrow and rip :p

Right now, Techno's my big thing, though I listen to music genres such as some Rap, some Hip Hop, Classical, some christian (mostly gospel), Pop, and Rock.

I'm big time into Ska, And up to date forigen music. I like Pop, But not as much as Rock or Ska. I definetly have a very flexible music taste. My stepsis even got me into a few Rap songs. But it's definetly not my choice of music.
My father listened to bands like 'The Beatles.' And I grew up listening to them in the car with him. He let me listen to this band called 'Yes' and I really enjoy them.
I wonder, has anyone heard of the Korean Ska/Rock band called The Witches? I have their CD! It's really great.
Haha.. I have a weird music pref. sweatdrop

Korean Ska? That's a new one on me. There's just too many genres to keep track of; two collide and you have a third. I'll just keep to calling it "music."

Montigo Dominic wow, another person that really likes music like i do! Have you heard of the Band Asgaard or Seraphim? they are Awesome!!! no, but if you dig any of that stuff i listed and you say those guys are good, i'll definetly check them out.
