I just dont see why you do this, specifically state "We think this a wrong price but here it is anyway."
My suggestion is if you think its artifical dont update that item just yet, give it a maybe a week and if it sticks then update it.
Alternatively you could just report the prices as you seem them on the exchange but update weekly with the averages over that week (or any other set time period). So that even if for 3 days the price off an item jumps up 20% then lowers again it wont be particularly reflected in the value.
What messes up the economy is not individuals selling for high values its guides interfering instead of reporting what they see.

Well, as a price guide we dont have to say what we think prices should sell for, or what we would like to buy or sell our items for.
Prices guides are for informing what the items GO for.
We inform real prices and inflated prices. Then its your choice if you want to sell cheap so inflators go buy them and sell them for more, taking the profit YOU could be making for yourself.
As for waiting, we did wait for aruond a month untill our users got tired of being ripped of for lack of information. So here we inform you, then its your choice.
Plus GUIDES are just that, GUIDES. Not like the prices we post are final or the law. We just show what we see things going for, as every price guide has done in the past.

But by saying that "this is an inflated price" you basically say "this price is wrong but we'll list it anyway." Either list it as just "this is the price" or not at all. That way you can claim to just be reporting what it goes for, not commenting on what you'd like it to go for.

I feel that the majority of inflated items have settled down at those prices.
OMGs won't go back to 800k.

OMGs won't go back to 800k. That too, even though you say you do not support that price but by listing it you are saying to people that theres a chance you could get it. Hence encouraging people to ask for it.

Well I belive that if theres more user expecting to get it for that price means less users will want to buy them for the inflated.
Plus i made a poll and more than 60% if the guide users want it to stay that way.
I was thinking about getting rid of it but since the poll is asking for it to stay i guess I will leave it like that. And most of the join requests we get say they like it how we show both prices and they can compare it. So i will do what most of the users want xp

Raziel.... sweatdrop whats the big problem? why go complaining like this and everything? If you support the prices that people have jacked them to (which you probably do since you just came back recently and probably are richer now) then if you support them then it's fine. If not then that;s fine too. I feel that most of the prices have settled and that maybe we should take out the inflated price thing and just state the one price. But as we our a guild made for the users we always ask the users what they want, and the polls have always shown they want us to keep it. Basically you can look at it as the inflated price is the real price and the other price is the price before people jacked them up. I feel Leti and myself would both take the inflation price thing out if it was just up to us, but we gotta do what the users want cause if it wasent for the users we would not have a guide.. we did not make this for ourselves you know sweatdrop
