Not only has the ball and it's "plot" gotten ridiculous and out of hand, but the so-called staff is getting a bit carried away. The Middle Ages room was just locked because of a really lame IC action, when we only have an hour of the ball left. How can anyone get to page 200 and win the prize now? They can't.
Also, there were many OOC people in that topic. By locking that topic, those IC actions were forced on the OOC people, and now they can't have fun anymore.
Is this fair?

... And yes, I do believe it's unfair that the contests were not able to be won.

Well for the prehistoric room, The contests have sort of been re-created.
I don't know about the rest.
And a certain co-host might still be giving away items to people on the regular threads. ninja

Honestly, I have not seen any actual roleplay during this whole thing. People are just running around posting crazed one-liners, and all it looks like is one huge godmoding festival. Everyone has super-duper magical powers, and the ability to block everything coming at them. It's just avatar free-form insanity, and it's making things really unfair and not fun.

Flames Wolf Honestly, I have not seen any actual roleplay during this whole thing. People are just running around posting crazed one-liners, and all it looks like is one huge godmoding festival. Everyone has super-duper magical powers, and the ability to block everything coming at them. It's just avatar free-form insanity, and it's making things really unfair and not fun. ((There was some good roleplaying in the Future Room before it shut down. After that I completely agree.))

This has gotten unfair...I at least tried to make myself not allpowerfull, yadyada...and I wanted a shot at the contests...
