I saw it in a commercial and I thought it looked good.
Plus what was your first episode? I think ym first one was when Cameron quit. I watched it a bit late.

Friend convinced me to see it, episode airing was Sotocratic(sp) Method. I thought it was so hilarious I've been hooked since then. heart

Actually, when the commercials first started showing, I thought it looked stupid. XP Then, one day after American Idol, I decided to watch it and it was the best decision I've ever made!

I thought I had watched it from the very first ep. They had an uncore and everything for it... but then I hired(borrowed) out the DVDs from my local video shope and found out that I had actually came in on the third, and/or had forgotten the actually first two eps.
But yeah, I watched the adds for it and thought it lookedgood too.

I cant remeber what episode it ws, but I had been seeing previews for the show, and I finally got to watch it, and then I liked it so much, I watched the next episode, and the next, and the next, and now I own the first season, and I dont miss an episode of the second.. ^^ I LOVE IT....

My first episode and how I got into it went hand-in-hand. I had nothing to do one night, so I made a rare appearance out of my bedroom and plopped down to watch TV with my parents, and they were watching House. It was the episode where the boy was babysitting his little brother, who kept shoving reinforcements up his nose to save a little kitty figurine, and the hilarity of that scenario was enough to get me hooked for life. I then made it my business to watch all the episodes they played as retuns during the summer to catch up, and I got pulled in even more. It was House's sarcasm that did it. I'm incredibly attracted to funny sarcasm.

I had nothing better to do so I was watchin' TV with my parents and they flipped through the channels....only to find House cutting off a kid's toe. We were horrified....but mostly because we didn't know the story...and was totally unaware that it was a dream. So we watched some more...fell in love...and now we never miss it.

I watched it a bit late. you think thats late i didnt start till the beginnign of the second season! i was on vacation and everyone else was swimming...i hate it.....and i was channel flipping and i saw it....i was hooked that instant.....

I saw the ad while watching CSI on AXN channel (I'm Asian). I was able to watch the very first episode! biggrin Yey for me! Got hooked with the series and it became one of the very first series I really did watch out for. I threw tantrums when I missed some episodes on season one. Good thing some friends share copies. blaugh heart

 i was watching american idol, and i just started watching the show.. i was like DAMN this stuff is good. and it was the first episode. hooked on it

Ahm...
About three months or more ago my fam was bored and really needed something to watch.
So we called up my Memere (who owns pretty much every movie and show on the planet) and asked for recommendations.
She's like, "OMD, HOUSE!!!!"
So naturally, we watched it from episode one, and at first I was kind of eek -ish, since there's all this insane doctor stuff, but then it was "This is awesome!!!" after I got used to it.
So yeah.
That's my fantastic tale.
This story is how I got in the guild; I bet whichever moderator read it wants to murder me.
I blathered for SO LONG.

The first episode I saw was the one with the lady that cheated on her husband with his friend but then I never watched it again for some reason. Then I saw a commercial that it was going to start airing on USA and I started watching it and now I'm hooked.

I actually missed the very first episode--but caught the second one right away. I wanted to watch it because it looked completely amazing--plus the "hard a** doctor" made me laugh. I love House--I watch it even more now because he's more of a jerk and so on--but he's a smart jerk. Gotta love that, eh? Well, anywho, I got into it through seeing the previews while, I think, watching 24.
