Man, I love Skies of Arcadia so much! It was a little on the easy side (a couple of those bosses were killers though- angel of death and that stupid rich dude floating above the clouds under the purple moon) , but the story, music, and gameplay made up for it in full.
I've never played another game that had so much adventure in it! When Vyse in his crew sailed around the world for the first time, it was like YOU were right on the ship with him! Same thing when you went to deep sky, or strange new lands! The whole sky was your oyster!!! You just felt the commraderie and the excitement right down to your bone, y know?

The end was wrapped up so well, it told you what happened to everyone! I wonder what will be in store for the sequel, and I can only hope it will be just as good and better.

There hasn't been too much news on the sequel... Only that there will be one. If anyone has more info- PLEASE enlighten me.

I liked Skies of Arcadia a lot too...but I didn't get very far until I screwed myself xp ...I probably have to start all over again but it was fun! biggrin

I liked it, but I got stuck at moon stone mountian probably a year or 2 ago and haven't touched it since. But now that summer is coming that might just change. I'm going to level up a bit a guess. >_>

And that game is pretty old, I think I would've heard something by now if there was going to be a sequel. Which I don't think there will be one.

well, according to my Nintendo power magazine replying to some person that ask about the sequel, there isn't one coming o.O;; But I still hope that they do though. SoA, that is the most touchy video game I ever play, heck, the game made me feel fear, happy, and cry. Not a lot of games that does though, well, maybe FFVII, but not even the Zelda series, my favorite series made me feel like SoA does. SoA may lack, graphics-wise? Because wasn't it a dreamcast game at first? anyways, what they lack in graphics, the other elements really came in and thats what make it a good game. 3nodding So, take my word for it, if anyone likes RPG games, SoA is one of the best.

I haven't played it yet, though Ive had it reccomended to me by quite a few people. Any games the battles play out like? Or is it mostly just a completely unique battle system?
