A woman with short black hair that curls at the tips walks into her room. She immediately sets a stack of books upon her cdesk along with a planner and a box of dry erase markers. Without speaking, she goes to the board and writes down the current assignment for her newly accquired students and some of teh old from past years who simply did not try. Her dark brown eyes rest on the class as her languid 5'10" tall form relaxes against the board to the side of the writing. "Hello. I am your Professor Samantha Markson. However, I would not mind any of you calling me Sam, it is simply shorter and grabs my attention more so than my last name. As you can see from what I have placed upon the board, I am here to further enlighten you on the English language."

She takes a step forward and smiles. "You're first assigment is simple. I want you to write for me a poem about yourself. You may use slang, cursing and any other form of language so long as it is comprehensible. I want you to express yourselves while showing me what you know. Those of you without supplies, I have notebooks and pencils ready. Please, begin, adn know that you are not doing this alone. For every assignment I give you, I will be doing as well." She moves the notebooks atop her desk and gestures towards them. "Feel free to grab one and make it your own."

{{As Missi has unfortunately left the guild, I will be NPCing the English teacher for the time being.}}

A fair-haired woman sits at the desk in the front of the room. As the bell rings for classes to begin, she smiled kindly.

"Good moring students" she says. Her Japanese is understandable, but there is a heavy accent marking her as a foreigner. "I am going to be your substitute teacher for an unspecified amount of time, until a suitable replacement is found. For now, you may simply call me Miss Adams."

---> from hallway

Yoku was one of the first who entered the classroom.
Not strangly since he didn't wanted another shock.
He slwoly sitted down, grabbing his book and pencil and pen and awaited for the teacher to come in and start her lesson.
After a while she came in and explained the class what the asssment was After she had finished talkig he quitly rased his hand.
"Excuse me, Can you tell me what a Poem is?" He heard some murmering and giggeling around him and he knew that everyone here knew what a peom was...except for him.

Miss Adams quickly went down the attendance roster. It seemed like most of the students were here. But at one name, no one answered.

"Rothyk, Cyndir?" she said.

No answer and the students shifted nervously. Miss Adams sighed. It had to be a result of that atrocious assembly. She picked up the remote the Dean had given her. She had no idea how powerful these things were...and she felt bad for whoever the student was. Perhaps a friend of one of the unfortunates. She turned the remote down to its lowest setting and input the activation code for the boy's collar.

Kimi dragged Yuusuke in after her and she snatched up two empty desks at the back of the room.

She felt bad for Cyndir. He was a nice guy. She'd seen him around Sydnie a few times, he probably took his death hard.

She pulled out a notebook and bent her head, attempting to look studius. She turned and looked at Yuusuke.

"You better give me back my book. And don't you go reading it!" she hissed, though her eyes twinkled. With that, she turned back to her lesson.

It wasn't long before the bell rang for the end of class.

"Oi, but I am horrible at this language!" she exclaimed on their way out of the room.

---> Band Room

Elizabeth walked into the room and sat down in a back corner. Wow, time flies when you're in shock. I must've just walked out into the hallway and never noticed where I was. I can't believe I wasted a whole hour doing nothing. Oh well, I'll just write notes in here and transfer that to my other notebook after class.

Getting her notebook open, and pen ready to write, Elizabeth looked up at the teacher, wondering what was going to happen in this class.

"Don't read it, ne? You should stop asking me that favor, before I get too curious, and the pages of the notebook fall open, Kimiko-san," he replied in a mocking hushed whisper.

The bell soon rang after Yuusuke struggled with the class. It wasn't that he had problems with the English, it was that he had problems with the fact that the teacher was doing translations from formal Japanese. He was too used to street slang, and as such, had almost forgotten some of the Japanese words.

He got up, and walked to the door with Kimiko. "Yea, well, I'm not much better, ne? At any rate, I just have to find the gym now..." he trailed off.

-------> Main office

The squeaky wheels of Miko's wheeled suitcase could be heard long before Miko came barreling through the doors. She stopped with a gasp doubling over. She took a moment to straighten out her multicolored toes socks, which had become crooked in her dash, then slid behind an empty desk. New teacher. Wonderful. Maybe she wouldn't receive a jolt in addition to the one she received for being late in the first place.

-------->Hallways

Kazz shook his head as he pushed the door open, stepping into the classroom. Miko waved to him cheerfully, if not as enthusiatic as usual. Still, it was hard to dampen her natural exuberance. He had thought the same of himself, but he seemed to be proving that false with every passing moment. He slid into the desk beside Miko, setting his guitar and messenger bag under his chair and out of the way.

"Hey, Miko. Looking better."

"Hi hi, Kazz-kun. You're not."

Miss Adams looked up from her desk.

"Are we all present and accounted for?" she asked in very formal Japanese.

<---from *ahem* World History tho technically it was b-13 cuz I'm a dunce like that.

"Not quite." Michale said stepping into the room just as the bell rang.

Miss Adams glanced over the tops of the small wire-framed lenses at the tall boy. She had been in Japan for only a few months but had grown quite used to being around people her own height...But now two tall ones in the same class? She snorted at him.

"Indeed. Please take your seat then." she said, looking back to the roster. "Your name, please?"

Kazimoto Michale..." he said as he glanced around the room, spotting an all-too-familiar face. His forgotten anger from this morning boiled anew, this time directed at the one Angel had been with. He sneered at Kazz, taking a seat two over from the boy.

"Well now, boyscout...miss me?" he said softly, so that the teacher wouldn't hear. "I warned you to stay away from Angel."

"Wow, Kazz-kun. The hell, that's not like you...." Her baby blue eyes swiveled round to follow Kazz's gaze. She didn't like the look of the dark haired boy smirking at her friend. It was that tall kid from the caf. The one Kazz had been fighting yesterday. Giving his taunting tone, she really didn't like him very much at all.

"Look here, Himo, I don't answer to you. And unlike Keiran, I'm not afraid of you. Know why? Cuz I know you for the weak, craven coward that you really are, you sorry son of a b***h. People like you are the reason this school was built. And I know it's your fault that Keiran is here. You're such an a** I can't stand even breathing the same air as you. Stop talking to me, baka." He then faced ahead, pretending to give the teacher his full attention. miko's smothered giggle reached his ears but he didn't turn.

Michale leaned back in his seat, folding his arms behind his head with pretended indifference.

"Ee...You watch your mouth, boyscout." he said out of the side of his mouth. "You act like you know the whole story, ne? But you don't."

He pointedly ignored the girl in the cat ears. Damn uppity little neko. What was the fascination with cat ears anyway? Michale never understood that sort of thing any better than he understood the lolita group or the cosplayers. Oh well. He leaned his elbows on the desk and stared stright ahead.

"You don't know anything about us. So watch who you call baka."

"Alright then students. Since I'm a bit new here, would someone tell me what you've been learning so far?" Miss Adams said, standing at the front of the class. She pulled the glasses from her face and pushed them atop the blonde mass of curls piled on her head. She had never taught in a reformatory school before, and wasn't at all sure how to go about it. Luckily, she didn't plan on staying very long.

kazuma's teeth clenched so tightly his teeth were grinding. he wanted to pretend as though he didn't hear the jackass, he really did. But something inside him wouldn't let him. He just couldn't seem to help himself. his head whipped around so suddenly his bleached bangsobscured his eyes and Miko jumped.

"You don't tell me what to do. I say what I want when I want, and there's nothing you can do about it. I know all I need to know about a piece of trash like you, Himo. I'd really rather not know anymore. You're prescence has polluted my spirit more than enough, ne?" It made his skin crawl to hear him refer to himself and Keiran as "us".

"I know about as much about you two as you know about us. Perhaps moreso. I know exactly what I'm saying when I call you baka. There's nothing to watch.... baaaaakaaaaaa."

Miko couldn't believe her ears. Calm, peaceful Kazuma, swearing and fighting and carrying on. It was like being in an alternate dimesnion or something. It really freaked her out. She sank into her seat, feeling like arrows were flying back and forth over her head.

Michale felt his fists clench and his head turned slowly in Kazz's direction. Oh but the little hippie b*****d was starting to grate on his last nerve. He needed to put him in his place quick. Polluted his spirit? Michale nearly snorted.

"You know, brat...you're really starting to piss me off." it was all he could do to keep from getting out of his chair and knocking the b*****d's head into his own desk. "There is no 'us' between you and Keiran." he hadn't even realized that he'd used the boy's real name for the first time in who-knew-how-long. "And still you act like you know. You don't. So pull your head out of your -- " he was cut off by a palm slamming down on his desk. He looked up, eyes flashing and his mouth open for a sharp retort, but it quickly closed as he saw the teacher standing over him.

"Is there something I can help you with, Kazimoto-san?" she asked, her voice chilly as autumn frost.
PostPosted: Sat Jun 03, 2006 1:31 am

"Piss you off..." he murmered softly. "Then my purpose has been served."

Kazz favored Michale with a satisfied smirk as he heard the boy refer to Keiran by his proper name. He loved even more the fact that Michale seemed to be jealous of him and Keiran. But the real corker, the cherry on top of the sundae of this entire construct, was when the teacher slapped her hand on Michale's desk. He could have died laughing, did he not fear repercussions. He exchanged a quick smile with Miko. Damn, he'd almost completely forgotten she was there.

play-doh frenzy

PostPosted: Sat Jun 03, 2006 6:27 am

Elizabeth sat in her chair, watching the goings on in front of her with eyes wide open. Damnit, not another fight. I don't exactally know what goes on in detention, but I know if you fight you go there, and I know it's at least a little bad, because of what people look like when they come out.

Elizabeth scooted her desk back slightly, wincing when it made a loud noise on the floor. Hoping no one noticed her trying to remove herself from the fight, to make sure she wasn't implicated, she stared at her desk. Listening, she hoped the fight would dissapate without major injury. She thought both those boys were kinda cute, and seemed nice, except to each other.
