I've been to 1 meetup and 1 anime convention dollfie panel. Both were...disappointing.

What happens at the average/usual meetup?

What's the usual agenda/schedule of events?

How are they usually organized?

I think it depends on the organization and the location. All of the SF Bayarea meets tend to have 20 people and upwards of 40 dolls, are always well organized and in nice places to take pictures.

I've only done two doll panels... it really depends.

Last year I think the dollfie panel I was going to go to fell through so I didn't go to it. I think it fell through... either way I didn't go. But we did do a couple impromptu meet ups at the con and that was great. I think it really depends on what kind of people you have.

Last year at Animazement my boyfriend was in Iraq so I spent a lot of time wandering around alone and being a little sad. I know, how lame foro a con! But it really seemed like if I had Key with me it was only a matter of time before someone with a doll would grab me and drag me over to other doll people! mrgreen That was great!

Does anyone know if there'll be a panel at Otakon this year? It's my first year going AND my first time going to a con with dolls of my own. I know there are a couple of people who I've made plans with to meet there, but will there be anything official?

I've been to a local one that Legato and Icesinger set up.
It was fun seeing all the different dolls and taking pictures.

Other than that, there was also that sleepover during the Tenshi-no-Sumika opening.
I had a really good time there.
Pictionary was possibly my most favorite moment.

I plan on taking Nagisa to Anime Expo with me.
He's going to cosplay L from Death Note.

Ooo...it'd be nice to have a BJD panel there now that I think of it.

It's Otakon- if I make it there, I'll be damn sure to atleast get a meetup going if there isn't one already.
