Basically, I'm looking for people willing to play a campaign that I thought of. It's going to be played in the traditional form(not lost chapters or d20 modern) with me DMing. If you're interested you can go ahead and post your character here.

So we're talking straight PHB characters here? I'll make one up and post it here! Glad to know someone else wants to DM 3nodding

I would, but I've got too many campaigns potentially going on already. One on Gaia, one I'm supposed to DM IRL, and one online with some friends.

Looks good, except I forgot to mention that we're starting at level 10 so the level adjustments are all taken care of.(I know it's really high for a starting level, but we'll still have plenty of challenge) Also, it's not just straight up PHB. I'm including any companion books for the series like complete adventurer and such. I'm probably going to be a scout.

Awesome, I'll create one updated to level 10 and grab a prestige class for it smile I'll post a new link when it's done.

You should read through our FR Campaign. I think it gives a pretty good idea of how to setup a structured, playable forum campaign. Even though we just started, everyone will get to see a combat soon.

One last thing. If you roll below a 9 on any of your stats, you re-roll. That's been a rule in all the campaigns I've played, and it seems like a good idea.

I usually just take what I get. Should I make stat rolls for the lvl 10 char in a topic or something so you can see them or do you use point buy?
I just did 4d6 rolls on my handy dice-roller program for that char, and dropped the low die. I made it a bit ago for something else, but never used it.

That's what I was always told at least, maybe I just played in campaigns with really screwed up house rules.

OMG!!!! eek 4d6 for ability scores would give you 4-24 instead of 3-18... you need to reread the char creation page... I've never heard of a human starting with a 24 in anything... Even a lucky non-human won't have anything over a 20 at 1st level.

I'm just going on what I know from past campaigns, I can't own the books because my mom would kill me.(she has faulty wiring because my dad played dnd and left her)
