Vanille Chocolat I think I'll make a topic on the clarity of dreams now. :3 It's fun to hear about what other people dream of, if they're willing to share. Well, since you asked... Every couple of years I get a recurring dream where all my teeth fall out. Sometimes I'm wiggling them and they pop out one-by-one. Sometimes I'm grinding my teeth and they all fall out at once. gonk hey, this emoticon has no teeth...I read somewhere that dreams about teeth falling out are supposed to relate to sex. But then, some people seem to think that everything in a dream relates to sex!

Well, at least now I don't have to write an introduction that leaves people floundering in the dust of my complete and utter randomness, hoyes. *flaunt*
I'll start with a memorable dream from when I was little. I used to have several where I flew down the stairs. Or rather, tried to. I kept on bombing into the steps or something, and it would actually hurt so I swore to my mother I'd tried it.
Anyway, one seperate dream was where this was this bulldog with glowing red eyes. I was staying somewhere alpine - it was snowing/there were pine trees/the house at the beginning had a chalet feel to it, warm-coloured wood and all that - and so I chased it by air in the dark through the falling snow. I felt cold and wet and I can remember the odd, weighty feeling in my stomach that I always got - get? - with flying dreams.
Another dream from my younger years was one where I was staying in a variation of my Nanna's house. She had worn, floral carpet and there was this little landing on the stairs with a trap door. I'd open it up and there would be three... chutes. I remember yellow and red, and I think the other was blue.
So it turns out my Nanna had a really complicated slide system inside her house. One was a spiral, one was straight, and each dream I'd go down a different one, or they'd change. Could smell the plastic, and only once I came out the other end and fell down onto the double bed in their room, which was on the bottom floor of the house, whereas in reality it was on the second floor.
...When I looked up there was no hole in the ceiling to have fallen through.
OH! And I did have a dream about Doctor Who, with my friend Harriet, as well, but that'll have to wait. xD;;

I have a lot of dreams of being a wolf, black fur, and I'm running through a forest.
But most my dreams are random. I remember my dreams normaly but I spend more time sleeping than most because of my Fibromyalgia. My dad keeps fish in a pond out side, and I used to keep some inside in a tank, and every time before that time of the month I some how acidently kill them in my dreams...
There was the time I cooked them in the oven.. don't ask me how that was an accident, all I remember was they weren't suposed to be in there, then there was the time I was draining the partly and emptied the thing by accident, and in another one I accidently tiped desial in the pond...
Oh and my favourite is the buble gum blowing pink dalek.

I had a dream about being chased by the Doctor's coat around a local town with a friend. There were slides and an invisible bridge!
The most recurring dream I had was walking into a massive room with my dad and sister, then finding it was a lift. It shrunk, then went down past a citrus coloured display with 2 of my aunts dancing in hula outfits. It went on for about 5 years as a childhood, and I can still picture it perfectly.
I've had other strange dreams too, but I'll save them for later.

fredwise The most recurring dream I had was walking into a massive room with my dad and sister, then finding it was a lift. It shrunk, then went down past a citrus coloured display with 2 of my aunts dancing in hula outfits. It went on for about 5 years as a childhood, and I can still picture it perfectly. A room that's really an elevator, and hula-dancing aunts. As far as strange dreams go, I think that one beats anything I've ever experienced... sweatdrop

Since I got my contact lenses I have this occasionally recurring dream where I'll be trying to put them in but they'll just keep growing and growing until they're the size of a dinner plate or bigger. And they be covered in dirt or grit or something... but I'll put them in anyway by sort of stretching my eye bigger too... Then I won't be able to see anything and I'll eventually wake up.
Not very pleasant I know but it's one of the few dreams I remember/can explain properly.
Ooh... I also had this weird dream where we were giving Snape (from Harry Potter) a lift to the school concert where my friend Hells was playing in her band. Afterwards he wandered off cos he was angry with us and got a lift with these mermaids instead. Only they took him out to sea and tried to eat him. I never found out what happened after that... And I don't know why mermaids. I've never really been a fan of mermaids.

I've had other strange dreams too, but I'll save them for later. You know, I suppose this is very odd for a DW fan, but I have never once had a Doctor Who dream. Not one. Yet curiously, the other night I had my forst trek dream ever. It had to do with a group of Ferengi, but aside from the fact that they were ooohing and ahhhing over a large brass bowl that was supposed to be one of only two of its kind, I remember nothing more about it.

Finally I stuck my mouth over the facet and spit everything out. That seemed to work, since I didn't have any more problems in the rest of the dream. 3nodding
Btw, I've heard that dreams about hair/teeth falling out have to do with our fear of aging and mortality. That seems to make more sense than the sex thing. I fail to see how my teeth falling out could represent impotence. xd

one of my strangest dreams was one i had when i went to bed after watching the matrix.
for some reason i was running up a street. and there was gun fire behind me. i ran into someones back yard and found that it was huge but it was all up hill and there was only one place to hind. it was a bush up the very top of the hill. so i ran up the hill and hid behind the bush. these guys that looking like agents from the matrix. they were walking so slowly but one of them appeared right in front of me. he looked down at me and smiles. i screamed and ran down the hill and into a house. in the house i turned around and one of the guys was right behind me. he stabbed me in the leg. i felt as though i was falling and i looked around to see 2 more of these strange guys. then i woke up

Right, another of my starneg dreams came on a monday evening. On the Sunday I'd been playing cricket, and on the Monday I'd been to an otter sanctuary, while listening to a specific band.
That night I dreamt about that band and I playing cricket. Then, the ball turned into an otter, but the band didn't notice. Next time the otter came towards me I caught it and ran away, then the band pushed me into a river after I'd set the poor thing free.
And I had another Doctor Who related dream, where he arrives on a planet for the first time, but is told that "Last time we told you to never come back", and he works out that in his future, he must have visited this place's past. Very confusing and weird, and now I'm writing a story loosely based on it!

One time I had a reocurring dream where...
I was little and in this big mansion, and my entire family, both sides, was having a huge family reunion. EVERYONE was there. Then this wierd bat demon thing starts walking around with a rocket launcher and killing everybody. Everyone is killed except for me and I end up at this huge window. He then looks at me, transforms himself so he has wings, and flys away from the house through the window.
I have a vert odd subconcious, don't I? 3nodding

every 4 years i get this recurring dream... its this odd place.. with these giet stone hands... that guard a gate.. and when i try to go throughthe gate the hands chase me... O___o
a few memorable dreams.. XD haha well.. i had one.. where there was me, the leasder of this expedition, looking for jems, and one of my peoples... went off looking for something.. and them all you heard were his screams! (my expedition people all happened to be people from stargate.. xd i think it was danial jackson who went off and screamed... >__>) we all rushed to see what had happened.. when er spotted these wolves.. drinking tea... O__o and one said to the other
"fancy another cup of tea old chap?" and then i woke up..
another one was, me and my dad, were walking down this street, and we walked into this little corner shop. the dude at the till, was a news reader... O_o who then started to read the news about these dolphins who were talking over the world... and then we went out the shop to see dolphins in helecopters overhead... >_> then i woke up...
none of my dreams make any sence XD

I had a weird dream after watching half of the matrix, then half of the matrix revolutions, then half of reloaded.
The twins from the matrix, except the were both rastafarian and one had a black suit and an AK-47. The came into my house and kept trying to punch me, but they kept turning ghost as they did it. Then an agent came in and shot at me but I went all bullet time and dodged it, and then there was some running and my PE teacher came along and says 'Go on Ben, you were doing this fine yesterday!' and hurdles appeared in my path and I tried to jump them but they kept getting higher and higher and then my teacher turned into an agent and shot my and I died/woke up.
