Who: Gwirionedd {Nightmare}, James & Alaw {Feien} Where: Enroute to Skye's. When: As it's being played. Blithe, his mistress and Lady of the Land of Avalon and all that it encompassed, had bid him to carry a message to Skye... Or, rather, Skye's home. He had been told that she was a dragon and, never having seen a real dragon before he was more than eager to go. It would be a grand adventure. Grand indeed. The only problem it seemed was that he had never been to this dragon's den before. Gwirionedd, on the other hand, had. At first the nightmare seemed displeased with the thought of carrying any message, let alone a creature carrying a message. It was only when Blithe suggested bringing James along that he found a slight possibility of something that could work out for him. Grapes. James was a glutton for them and, as Gwirionedd was a creature that fed off of gluttony? It only made sense, didn't it? Alaw had comfortably placed himself on the carrier that had been made out of a miniature basket. Padded with bits of fabric and little strips of leather twine to hold onto, it would make the perfect transportation vessel. Flight, although he had wings of his own, was another thing that Alaw had yet to try.

He couldnt really figure out why Blithe was talking to him again. Much less why she wanted him to go with Alaw somewhere. Really he hadn't even spoken to the other Feien much but, wel Blithe was worried about Cian too and he was worried and he should go.
Plus he was getting grapes.
"So....where are we going again?" He poked at the basket not quite sure ifhe trusted it. Could the bird really keep them on its back with just the basket? And why werent they just flying there themselves?

The feathers on Gwirionedd's wings rustled as he stepped onto the open window ledge. He glanced back, bright blue eyes swirling as he looked from his dreamer to the wee winged man she was speaking to. "You, James, are going with Alaw and Gwir to take a message to a friend of the family." She nodded slowly, holding a grape up in front of her to make sure that she had his attention. "I'm pretty sure that Cheshire is with this friend..." Saying that should have been enough.
Alaw shifted in the basket, warily eyeing the metallic claw of the 'bird' as it closed around the handle. They wouldn't be traveling on Gwir's back. Maybe if it had been just him he would have... But since James was coming along?
He motioned to the patch of padded seat beside him, brow furrowing slightly. "Come on. It's time to go."

"If he tries to eat me i am going to scream." He reached for the grape. He wanted that before he was going to get anywhere near the basket and the creepy bird.
"Is he going to make Cian happy again?" He really was worried about his human. The man hadnt been alright before and now. "I'm going to come back quick...he needs me"
Snatching the grape he skurried into the basket and sat beside Alaw

Blithe cast an apologetic look to the nightmare who, in response, clacked his beak at his dreamer. Granted, with the way James was he would have enough 'food' to last him for a nice long stretch... But he was starting to contemplate whether or not that would be worth it.
She was sorry that she couldn't come up with answers to the Feien's questions quickly enough to soothe his worries before Gwirionedd dropped from the window sill. He let his body fall for a moment, taking the basket along with him before opening his wings to glide. Then, thinking that the basket seemed almost too light, he looked down to check on his passengers who were, suprisingly enough, still there.
Alaw's eyes were stunningly wide pools of blue and the excitement on his face seemed to overcome any amount of terror he may have felt in that initial drop. "This is... Magnificent!"

James on the other hand screamed and latched onto Alaw's arm. "How can you like this!!! That was horrible!"
He never wanted to do that again. He could fly himself and didnt need some bird to be carrying him around espically if the bird was going to be jumping out of windows with no warning like that.
"why did we have to come this way anyway? cant you fly?"

He reached a 'gloved' hand up to give James' hand a reassuring pat. Somewhere up above him he was almost certain that Gwir was laughing... If birds could laugh, that was.
"We didn't have to come this way... But would you have prefered to spend lots of time searching for a house you've never been to before?" He felt that he was making a good point. Afterall, he would never have been able to find the dragon's house on his own.
He leaned over the edge of the basket, taking James into the lean with him should the other Feien still be grasping his arm for dear life. "It's a beautiful view."

"Could have gotten a map...or directions." He huffed then stiffened as Alaw leaned over the side of the basket.
"The ground...is..is..is...is all the way down there." Who would have known. The faerie as afraid of heights, or at least disliked them. Amusing considering the height of his caretaker.
"will have to teach you fo fly....its easier...and you can do it lower."

The Feien's head tilted up as he shifted back towards the center of the basket in order to calm James. Gwirionedd clicked his beak once more before begining a downward glide. That was the only warning that either Feien recieved... He pulled his wings towards his body and, from that glide, dropped.
Alaw's eyes went wide. His breath caught in his chest and, for a moment, he was quite certain that he would never breath again. He then squeezed his eyes tightly shut. Oh, what sort of knight would he make if he couldn't even face his own demise?
It was a good thing that it was just a landing and not his demise. The nightmare seemed to be laughing as he set the basket on the windowsill before tapping his beak against the glass of the window.

"I never wan...Ahhhhh!!" James hid himself against Alaw as the Nightmare tilted downward toward his landing.
Once the basket was safely on the sill he peeked up. Never again. Never. He would shoot himself out of cannon before he did that again. "Oh My God...." He had heard Cian say that before and figured it was a good expression. "Why does everyone want to kill me!"

When he was certain that they were indeed alive he pried himself from James' grasp. Carefully he climed out of the basket, knees wobbling. "Wow." That was the only word he could say and, as proof, he repeated it at least twice more.
The window opened to the inside and a hand reached out to catch him as he lurched awkwardly forward. "Well, well... What've we here?" The odd voice chuckled, holding Alaw up eye level. "A little messenger." The peacock peered down. "Two of them, so it seems... And a bird as well."
"A bird?" The feline peeked up from the bed, unable to keep the somewhat hopeful tones from his voice. A bird and two messengers... It could only mean someone from home.

James crawled out of the basket and upon hearing Cheshire's voice jumped up and fluttered over. "CHESH!!! There you are!!" He grabed onto the feline's arm, well what he could grab of it. Cian had been missing the cat, that was it right?
Peering at the feline he wondered why he was here and not home.

The feline looked down at the fairy attempting to hold onto his arm, brow furrowing to the point where he almost looked on the verge of tears once more. Paun, seeing that look, gently snatched the tiny fairy away from him. "Now now, little one. Leave the cat some room to breathe, alright?"
He sat James back down on his dresser, settling Alaw beside him. "Is there a reason why the two of you were sent here?"
Alaw quickly stood, wings giving a little flutter as his back straightened. "We've come with a message. It's..." He paused for a moment, looking around the room in an attempt to see where the window was... Or, more importantly, where Gwirionedd was. "In the basket."

He grumbled indignatly as he was picked up and set on the dresser. "Why? He needs to come home." he grumbled to himself.
"Yea. Blithe said to give it to you so you could read it and...and somethign else." He hadnt really been paying attention since Alaw was the real messenger.

He glanced towards Chesh who had pulled the pillow to his chest. The little purple fairy really wasn't helping things any... If anything, he seemed to be making it worse. Maybe that's why Blithe had sent him along. The nightmare dipped its head down, plucking the piece of parchment from the basket. He permitted the peacock to stroke his cheek before stepping back, waiting to return home. "Blithe said, 'Make sure he reads it and talks to Chesh before sending the two of you back." Alaw nodded, crossing his arms over his chest as he waited for the bi-pedal bird to read the letter. Quote: P. Demon was here. C's not doing well. Hasn't left room since demon left. Please, send other C home if you can. B. Despite the serious nature of the note he couldn't help but chuckle. There was something about her 'code' that he found endearing... But she was right. It was time that he sent the feline home.
