Ok people! I've been DMing for YEARS and YEARS... so as much as I would like to PLAY AD&D, I will run a campaign. I am online every night, and a few times during the day as well, so I think I'd make a good DM for a Gaia based campaign anyway.
We'll just make some threads here to run it in. 1 for character sheets, 1 for OOC and 1 for play. We just need to sort some things out, I would prefer to run either forgotten realms or oriental adventures if I am DMing, but I'll let the players decide which sounds best. I can get anyone who is *AT ALL* familiar with 2nd Ed. AD&D up to speed with no problem, so don't let that stop you from joining, but it WILL be either 3 or 3.5, since I'm NOT going back to THAC0!!! Thank you.
I own hundreds of modules and adventures and also subscribe to Dungeon magazine, so expect structured play (I'm not going to get lost on a tangent, or forget something) with lots of side-quests and some actual adventure.
I'd prefer to start all chars at 1st level, and am familiar with all classes, so go ahead and make that shaper or savant! (Psychic Warrior is my fav!)
I will consider any class/race combos you can come up with, as long as you can come up with a really good explaination for your kobold doomdreamer....
So there we have it guys and gals, if I have 3 players that will commit to being semi-active participants then I'll make the threads and start with char creation and world info.
I have seen many good campaigns planned on Gaia, I'd love to see one start. ACTIVE PLAYERS PLEASE!
EDIT: Ok, I have several players who have said they would play, but only 2 characters sumbitted so far. So get those characters submitted! Please let any of your friends that may be active RPGers know. I will be posting the campaign background soon, and I want characters to be created/submitted as soon as possible.
