The AMC today was ******** ridiculous, and the people who I am displeased with know who they are.

Don't pull that ridiculous bullshit ever ******** again. Especially not in the ******** forum you purport to be concerned with the condition of.

Anyone who claims to be in any kind of position of superiority should damn ******** well act like a better human goddamn being. And I'm not talking buy sticking their nose in the ******** air and pretending they're above the lesser beings. I mean by walking the ******** walk.

One way we could start is getting rid of the Fantaku/N00btaku thread.

I see no purpose for that thread whatsoever. confused

Yeah, I agree. >_O

Even though I created it, its getting kind of not funny anymore. Actually, now its kind of mean. I really wouldn't mind if it was deleted. Honestly. >_>

But Stream, what happened yesterday? I haven't been present in the AMC, so I don't know what's been going on lately.

Ask Hieka about her trolling run on the AMC. It was bad before that, but her utter lack of ethics managed to 86 my opinion of a lot of the AMC regs.

If I was a mod, there would have been a lot of so called AMC defenders stuck using their mules for a few days, if you know what I mean.

The AMC is not a forum for discussion. The AMC is one big battle of the asses.

Which is why I never post there anymore.

I stay in the AMC and try to help smarten people up. Merely by sharing a misunderstood hobby with these people I am unfortunately represented by them... and every one of them I help come around to a more balanced view of things is another person not making me look like a freak for liking cartoons and comic books.

And sometimes they come around enough to start doing it too...

But too many of them do it for no reason other than to glorify themselves... and they usually forget that if they're supposed to be a better person, they need to act the part rather than just declaring it so.

Mostly, the AMC has just become a "MY p***s IS BIGGER THAN YOUR p***s" contest.

Ahh, I understand now.

And... I can see why Hieka's thread pissed you off. Or rather how.

But then again, any fandom that reached the 1,000th fan will start or have its asshatery and we'll have to deal with the stupid people as best we could ... within the legal terms.

Mhm, I'm sorry, but what was Hieka's thread about? I would check her Post History, but I can't find away to it without going through her profile. And they're down right now, so...

I think her thread got deleted. sweatdrop

It was basically about "This is what can happen if you let anime control your life." and based one example for like... thousands of others. O_o; And it was like "damn girl, chill out."

Yup. It got deleted several hours after I reported it for being the trollfest that she intended it to be.

She invented a tale about manipulating a perfect (healthy, a+ student, pretty, nice, popular, good christian, etc) who hated anime into like it and suddenly becoming the ultimate negative stereotype (fat, unwashed, antisocial, skipped church and became a social reject, etc) solely because they watched anime. And she called the whole lie a social experiment that she conducted. She even gave this trollery the perfect name... "Stop watching anime, it makes you stupid" or some such bullshit specifically designed to piss off the AMC so her and her cronies (who had just recently dared to whine about the terrible state of the AMC with all the noobs and trolls) could sit there and flame anyone who came in to disagree with he little bitchfit.

And a large number of the AMC "defenders" showed up to effectively give up their right to complain about the state of the AMC for ******** ever.

Ergh...

I hope I'm not one of the "defenders" you're referring to. sweatdrop
