So what settings for campaigns do you guys use? I am a Homebrewed, Ravenloft and Planescape guy myself.
Ravenloft is a gothic Horror setting and PLanescape is a philosophy based game.

Well, c'mon FR is the best. ninja I also like Greyhawk, Dark Sun, Scarred Lands, Ravenloft, Planescape... you know. I'm not picky. I am partial to Oriental Adventures though, and have the current materials =) pirate

I am partial to Oriental Adventures though, and have the current materials =) pirate Best is a subjective term, but it was well liked enough to branch over three editions I'll say. The only problem I find with Planescape is that people so often want it to be a hack fest, same with Ravenloft.......

I've gotten into the RPGA, and they play Living Greyhawk, and I don't mind that much, but I don't have much experiance with it. I've never played Oriental Adventures, I think I'd like it once in awhile, but I like my fantasy and my umm...oriental fantasy seperate heh. I've really only got experiance with Forgotten Realms, but it's still really good. I'd certainly try others, if I had people to play them with.

The reason I play the campaigns I do is the following.
Ravenloft: It denies players the feeling that evil is without punishment, that alot of the people there are not too powerful (strahd, and soth aside) The villans can be ANYONE
Home brewed: Everyone has a home brewed world, its cheap to make razz
Planescape: it shows that not every situation warrents arms.

Yeah, I really mean BEST as in most material, most in-depth world, most people who know the campaign setting, and that's FR all the way. But really, when are we gonna play D&D?

The only thing I dislike about the Realms is the Drizzt Dourroden obssesors, GAH there are lots of great heros in the relams, Like Alias, Dragonbait, Artus Cimber, Olive Ruskettle, Mirt the Moneylender, and at a time Cyric (which is weird to say......)

Yea, as great as Drizzt may be, it's not like he's the only good hero in FR. Anyone read the books on Elminster? Now there is a real hero!
