For the past 3 years I've gone to Washington, DC to march in the March for Life. Has anybody else gone? What'd you think of it?

One word: Cold.
I used to go every year, but I haven't for awhile, my parents are afraid it'll be too much for me.
I actually enjoyed it, besides the freezing part. The images weren't too graphic, there were tons of people there (which made my faith in humanity rise), the pretzels were awesome, and the people were pretty cool.

I need a hug. *Hugs* Don't worry, you're not missing much. Like I said, it's cold. I wish they'd made abortion on demand legal nationwide in the spring or something. There are local pro-life marches on the same day, I know that. If you have a pro-life group at school, you might be able to organize a field trip to a local one.

divineseraph bah, i'm not bothered by cold. do the choicers get hostile there? There were a few things thrown that I saw one year I was there, but the police are EVERYWHERE. Seriously, they hold back the people trying to block the march and yelling things at us and everything, and some of them are very nice too. And the babies are so cute! THe ones that parents bring I mean, with signs on their strollers that say, "I was adopted!" or "My mom chose life!" they're all bundled up in winter clothing.

i'm really not sure, if i got in a fight with one of them, if i would take the blows and be better than them or kill them... i don't take punches well and would be liable to lash back out...
so i'l try to not get in a fistfight in the first place

The crowd control there is pretty good.

Now I want to go! Policemen to make sure I don't get hurt?! Tons of people?? Babies? PRETZELS? xd I want to! But I live in central California, so I'll probably never go... I wish I could though... it sounds fun, even though it's cold.

When you get older, there are probably groups that go there. People come from every state, a lot of them come in organized groups. I know there are a lot of church groups that come from all over, there was one from Canada that I saw, but they used french a lot and I didn't know french then.
Hopefully though, when you're old enough so your parents won't mind you going there, it'll have been overturned.
