Since we're doing a complete reboot, we thought that the OOC thread should be restarted as well. Don't worry, the old one still exists, but the topic has been locked and moved to another forum.

Okay, that's it. Family talk.
Illiteracy in the guild is getting out of hand. One or two spelling mistakes, I can deal with. But some of the posts are painful to read.
Please, is it too much to ask that people use proper english?
Is it too much to ask to describe your character's facial expressions, rather than using an emoticon?
Literacy is one of the main rules of the guild. It's on the front page, for crying out loud. Is it too much to ask that we actually respect that rule?
If it is, I'm going to have to start sending out warnings. And warnings are only a step removed from banning. Please, don't make me ban anyone. It's really a dreadful business. All I ask is that you type properly. You're not required to churn out your posts in thirty seconds or less. You can take the time to be descriptive.

Although I love the similes myself, we'd all prefer you not use them in the RP and instead try to "express" your actions a bit more.
Smiles in the OOC are perfectly fine, however xd

we stopet in a town calle beleville eek
we had car troubles and the guy that helpd name was scott eek eek
we stayed at a bed and break fast an the room i had look a like a x-manioson bedroom eek eek eek
