Lately I'm noticing a really bad phenomenon: singers are destroying Japanese evil
For example: Madonna's last song xp Apart from music tastes, she spells horribly! Her "gomen nasai" is... ugh! And "Sono spiacente" is correct, but no one says it anymore, neither my granny rolleyes
And today I discovered that one TATU's song is called "Gomenasai"!!! scream
It's so sad...
Have you noticed something like this?

Madonna is an awful whore. xd They only time I ever liked her was when she played Evita. Did you hear that her daughter asked her if she was gay? rofl

Sometimes in Spanish CDs, the lyrics are screwed up. Like accents are left off certain words and added to others. rolleyes

The next smart-aleck English-speaking person who thinks they can be cool by putting awfully-pronounced French into their songs will have their head chopped off by none other than me.

There is a lot of French rock band today that sings only in English. I don't know if you know the band HushPuppies, heard few of their songs to the radio, all in english. I just heard an interview (on the radio) they actually come from Perpignan, I always thought they were English.
Kinda sad no?

Fool's Garden is a German band, but as far as I know they only sing in English. stare I like their music. I want to hear them in German!

But people in this guild always say that English is made of other languages, so why is another French word wrong?

Btw, alone standing singers (in France still) can buy their songs to 'Paroliers" (lyricers ?) who are people who write a song, compose a melody. The singer just has to sing it ...

Ooh, I'll provide the axe!

May I add the poison to the blade?

Of course, the most poisonous thing here is the moldy pinnapple monster that lives in the fridge... When I last tried to remove it, it growled at me... o-o

On second thought, could I destroy that monster first? O_o

Could I also ask about dubbed songs? Like how Protege Moi (sorry about lack of accents) was translated into English? Or how so many Japanese songs are?

I personally think they suck. When sung in English, you get things like "the road in the future is when and where" from a Japanese song... It sort of stinks. The original meaning is lost, and the person singing it is worse than Brittany Spears or Madonna (hate how she says "gomen nasai").

Because they have a horrible accent, and they don't even really know the French language. Most of the time it's just some idiot who thinks it's sexy to add in words from a romantic language like French.

Have I mentioned the horrible Anglophone accent? ninja
