A little bit of dust picked up as the dark female hopped herself from yet another large elephant skull to the dusty and bone littered ground below. Just like the others, almost laying like the others were ... but still not the same one which homed the Alpha of the pack.
Well, if one would even consider it a pack as Zoma was still unconvinced. Things just didn't seem right to her, it seemed unorganized .. or maybe because it seemed so small, or maybe 'cause she just hadn't seen a lot of other hyena around to see what they did besides BossLady and Rasuli... and one other that she didn't know the name of. The female frowned slightly as she lowered her dark nose to the ground in hope of picking up a sign of which way to go.
But nothing, or at least nothing that seemed a little familiar- or at least of what she could tell, maybe she should have stayed around the skull a little longer to get familiarity or something. Was she totally lost again? She was sure she hadn't gone too far out when she had gone in search of a meal.
"At least I'm not going in circles~" Zoma giggled as she picked her head up. .. Or at least she hoped she wasn't, as her ears flattened slightly while her cobalt eyes took a moment to glance about.
... No, she wasn't that bad... "Of Course not!" Spirits returned as she put a little bounce in her step whilst looking around the area.

Not far from the female, a grown male was carrying a young gazelle in his jaws, but he haden't really.. hunted it. Hunting alone, for a hyena, was rather.. Hard, especially these little gazelle's. So he'd waited for a cheetah, then grabbed it. After a chase, cheetah were to tired to fight, or grab their prey and run, so he had no trouble in stealing it. Despit not being the right thing to do, survival was a tough game, and everyone should know that.
It had been a while sense he'd eaten, wich is why he'd succumbed to stealing. The scent of blood right under his nose had hidden the dark female, untill she'd gotten in sight, that is.
Well, it was a hyena, so no need to worry, right? He jumps up on an elephant skull, those didn't seem any bit rare here. Setting it between his legs, he lets out a yip, just in case she haden't seen him. Or smelled blood, even if it wasen't that hard to small.

Zoma's nose twitched, inhaling a familiar scent - not of locations or other hyena but of taste and prey. Blood. Behind her perhaps? Tail flicked, ears flattened once again as her eyes narrowed trying to locate the smell. There? Her head turned, sniffing it out, or there. Almost circling around again as she took a few steps trying to pick it up. Where was it? Her eyes narrowed, frustrated, until the smell got clearer. There... Eyes trailing towards upwards to a skull not so far away. Hadn't she already been there? Why was the smell of blood coming from it now?
Her head tilted confused, allowing her fluffy white mane to flop over to a side as her cobalt eyes continued to look about. Something must have recently come by, perhaps a dying animal? That'd be easier prey than the mice she had tried to feast upon. Distingishing it was unfortunatly being difficult with the blood being so strong, unless it was new creature in which she doubted. Until the yip, making her ears turn and twitch as her nose and almost startling her back a few steps.
"Oh?" Oh, Zoma realized, finally noticing the hyena that was clearly sitting upon the shull in which the blood was omitting from. "Ohoh!" The female beamed, trotting her way towards where the brown hyena rested, excitement radiating through her - not for the obvious food he seemed to possess but just for the idea of him, himself.
"Hello!" She called up upon approach. "I'm Zoma, and you are?" Her eyes sparkled in giddiness and she remained below until invited.

He looks down at the female, having an upper view from ontop of the skull, before lying down on it, moving the carcass onto his front legs. He nibbles on its leg a bit, even if they weren't a very juicy part, he liked the bones, now those were good.
"You with Mafa too? "

"Tibuka..." Zoma repeated after him, followed by a few more times in a soft tone allowing the name to roll off her tongue. Tibuka... and he was brown-ish, easy enough. Again, her head tilted in curiosity, eyes glancing ever so slightly as he moved his kill upon his front paws and better into her view. Was... that gazelle? How long had it been since she had that.
"Oh." She shook her head, trying not to become transfixed upon his meal... try so hard not to look longingly upon its tastiness. New friend, more important and perhaps one of the pack? "Mafa?" The female's gaze went skyward trying to recall the name. Names and muzzles never were difficult for her to remember but she honestly wasn't sure if she had heard that name before. Mafa ... with Mafa.
OH wait, perhaps. "BossLady?" Gaze upon him once again. "Yesyes." She beamed up at him. So, he was apart of the pack as well, perhaps things were actually getting in order for it after all.
Unless, "I can presume you are as well, right? Not sure how many other hyena are about but you seem to know BossLady by name, so that makes sense and all that you'd be with her as well. I wonder if there are any other packs about, that'd be kind of fun though. More Hyena, I haven't seen a lot in a long while well besides BossLady and Rasuli and one other male that was out and about one day. Well, then got lost and all so haven't even seen them either. But, hey, found you or.. you found me, so that's fine enough." She enthusiastically rambled.

This one was an odd one, huh? Though, he chuckles inwardly; BossLady, fits Mafa, sure enough.
"Yeah, I'm am. Stumbled in after seeing a blue flying lion. "
Was stumble the right word, anyways? His ears flick forward than back,before blinking at the female, did she know about Mafa's pups? Er.. Pup, anyways.
"You know Rasuli.. do you know about mafa's pup? "
Anyone in the pack should know about it, right? Not lik there was any danger if they didn't, but hey, it'd be best if they knew either way.

Zoma's ears pivoted forward as her blue eyes widened. "A flying blue lion? They can FLY now?" That crafty devils, first they kicked out hyena out of their homes and now they grew feathers and could fly! How unfair! The female's maw contorted slighty as she went into a mild rant under her breathe which was brought only to a halt at the mention of a pup.
"Pup?" Brought her ears back into a normal state, though slightly back. The female huffed slightly, pulling herself up from her seated position to rest her front paws on the side of the elephant's skulll for more leverage to Tibuku. "Bosslady had a pup?" And Zoma hadn't been there for any support or aid for her leader during any duration of the pregnancy, she felt awful. "Is it okay? Is Bosslady?" She inquired, hoping for the best. She should probably bring something back to the two if things were okay, an offering or something.

Yes, thankfully. Imagine if lions kept buzzing around?! That was /rong/. His ears flick both forward and back when she puts her paws on the skull, and at her questions. Hmm.. Was Mafa ok? She seemed rather funny because of the dead pup, probably haden't been it, she'd have attacked that lioness. And he would have to, if she had.
"Well.. She's fine, and the pup is too, but the other one died. "
oh yeah, he haden't mentioned there had been two, had he?
"Sorry, there were two. "

At the news, Zoma's ears drooped and she couldn't help but let out a small whine. "One .. died..." The darker hyena pushed off from her position, letting her front paws upon the ground once again. Head held down.
She felt just awful, first not there in the first place to help the Alpha during the pregnancy - besides not even knowing about it - and then not there to support Bosslady over the lose of one of them. Though, Zoma was sure Mafa probably wouldn't be the kind to want the comforting, but it was the thought after all.
Zoma took in a deep breath and let it out slowly, cobalt eyes turning upward at the brown Hyena again. She really was at a lose of words, not even knowing where to carry the conversation to... really, where does it go from the death of a pup? 'the weather is lovely today though,' yeah right. "Um..." She muttered, soft in tone, shifting her gaze to the side
