I'd personally prefer to not have a theme song.

Personally I'd think it would be "I'm Coming Out" xd but probably not. I also know that due to an Episode of Will and Grace "Gypsies, Tramps, And Theives" by Cher is supposed to be a big thing for the LGBT community. But perhaps there really is a theme song. *runs off to look it up*

After a little searching, I found some stuff out about a group called the "Pink Singers", an LGBT Choir based out of London. On thier official website, they mention singing their "Unofficial Theme Song" which is entitled "Hand in Hand" ,A song that is also mentioned as being the Theme Song for the 1986(?) Olympics. I would have gotten more information ,but I was very close to having a bad parent over shoulder moment and had to close the window and I havent had a decent chance to get back to the searching. Hope that helps a bit though.

I don't think that the gay/bi community in itself has one, I think it varies from person to person.
Mine would be Gackt - White Eyes

Is a theme song really needed? I mean, that seems like labeling to me. Do white people have a theme song? Mexicans? Asians? Homophobes? ...Canibals? I think I've made my point. sweatdrop

Of course we dont NEED a theme song, and everything I've found out about any form of LGBT theme song all refer to them as "unofficial." Personally, I'm all for the not labeling thing, but it makes for an interesting conversation piece. 3nodding

Waitaminute, the "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" theory isnt all that far fetched - its got the Rainbow (symbolized as the Gay Pride Flag) and also, Judy Garland who played Dorothy and sang that song was a Gay Icon... so it is quite possible that "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" DID become the Gay/Lesbian Theme Song.
EDIT: From the looks of the info on Judy Garland on Wikipedia, it appears that her death helped cause one of the first major Gay Rights Movements in the US eek interesting bit of trivia that. Totally makess the "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" theory a plauseable one.
