Seriously, every time his face comes on the screen, or his annoying little doctor voice is heard, I want to chuck the remote at the TV. But I don't because then I couldn't see the rest of the show. I don't really know what I dislike about his character. Maybe that I feel like he took over without everyone actually saying he should be the leader. All I am certain about is that every second spent with Jack centered on the screen is a second of the show wasted in my view.

Oh wah wah wah.

Everyone so wanted Jack to be leader. But then every time something goes wrong, he automatically gets blamed and then everyone goes off saying they never wanted him to be leader. Especially Locke...who clearly stated Jack should embrace the leadership role, but now they're totally rivals for power.

Then you have stupid Sawyer who clearly only cares about himself and would make a horrible horrible leader...and yet everyone loves him.

If you hate Jack so much, then don't watch the show. He's the closest the show has to a lead male role so it's not like he's going anywhere.

Sawyer may be 'cooler,' but he's totally a d**k and I'd never want him to be leader.

Also, regarding his mocking of Locke: I think Jack's totally passive-aggressive. So Locke, who TOLD Jack to put on the Leader Hat, is now like, "Dude, who said you were the leader?" And Jack, instead of saying, "You did, dumbass. Remember?" is just demeaning him without being direct about it.

Additionally, I think the writers just totally forgot that Locke was all, "If you build, he will come," in the beginning.

I like Jack. It's Locke that's being all mr. goody two shoes. Locke is pretty demading, it's like he thinks he knows everything that is going on. But Locke is an interesting character. It's like he has to be involved in every problem on the island, and has to control it. He has a serious obsession with the hatch. And Jack is a character that wants to save every one and be the hero, and Locke has a lot of faith and kind of takes advantage of what he has.

I've never liked Jack.
Ever since the first episode. Just something about that man bugs the hell out of me. Obviously he didn't ask to be the leader, but his cocky "I know everything because I have a PHD" attitude gets on my nerves.

And who the hell apointed Sawyer leader? Better question. Since when do people on the island like him? Aside from Kate that is sweatdrop

yeah, he's the leader, no doubt, the man just need's some faith. what I mean by him "mocking" Locke is when he's like "oh, so I guess this is are destiny? right Locke?" and crap like that, I really don't think that nether Jack or Locke are perfect for the leadership role, both of them have there con's and pro's confused I like Sawyer because he's funny, and I like seeing him get beat up by Hurley, but a leader? no he could never be the leader.

At some point or another, all of the characters becomes annoying. Jack is alright, but I really dislike Charlie's character.

Yeah none of them are perfect.
But sometimes Locke has some additude problems.
And so does Jack.
And Henry is making the situation between them worse with starting all this stuff.

Jack's alright. so is Locke. so is Sawyer.
but they all can be annoying. and the other lost characters too.
yesh....its annoying when they never say anything about their pasts, so the other ppls are all confused on why they are having attitude problems.
yesh. no one's perfect.

Everyone told Jack to be the 'leader' because he is a doctor and s**t and then everyone gettting pissy on him when he tries to take charge. he makes a better leader than Sawyer would though (even though Sawyers a complete hottie)
