K'rahar is a planet that has 4 moons. Their religion and belief system is based around their four moons. The residents are dominantly humanoid in feature, except for their eyes & ears. They're born with pure white eyes which eventually fade into a normal coloring for humanoid creatures. Their ears are also longer, like elven ears.
Each moon has their own name. K'rahar is the moon which is mostly present. Those who are born under it's influence are generally peace-loving creatures. They generally have blue eyes and fair skin. Their hair color is generally brunette.
Jorshan: The second masculine moon and the darkest. It comes around once every seven years and stays for 48 hours. Those born under it's influence tend to have green eyes and dark colored hair. They also tend to be deathly pale. Their personality tends to be on the darker end of things and most people born under this moon's influence are criminals. Trenril was born under this moon's influence.
Lena'e: The most feminine of the moons. Females are the scarcer of the two on K'rahar and the majority of females are born beneath this moon's influence. They tend to have violet eyes and fair skin. Generally, they have blonde or black hair.
Henret: The second feminine moon, though this one has masculine undertones. Those born under it's influence tend to be a little more hyperactive than those born under K'rahar's. They tend to have brown eyes and slightly darker skin due to the darker nature of the moon. They generally have red hair.
Once every seven years, the Festival of the Moon is held. This is the one night of the year that all moons meet at once. Nobody knows what makes them go off of their orbital time to meet up, but this is the one time of the year where each take up their cardinal directions. Any way you look on the night of the festival you can see a differently colored moon.
Those born under all four moons influence tend to be great in whatever they choose to do.
K'rahar worked on a one year was ninety earth days schedule.
The social structure is something a wee bit different. Even though the moons mostly determine the features of offspring born, their parents do moreso - Nobles and Higher-Up on the social ladder tend to be the pale, fair skinned creatures while the peasants are generally those of a darker skin tone. The mark of high class is unmarred, perfect flesh that shows no hard work. Tattoos are strictly something peasants have as to mar your flesh is to be imperfect - and perfection is something that nobles strive for.
At the point of Rothe's birth, Slavery had been outlawed and the end result was his family taking their business into the underground. Nobles captured and sold into slavery was their favorite as peasants tended to be more plentiful and not hold special value.
His family was at the top of the social food chain. There was nothing that was too expensive to them, nothing that they could not get if they wanted it. Whether it was from fear, wealth, or a combination of both was not important. Rothe had -everything-...Or would, once his father was killed.

Personality: Rothe's kind of hard to put down - but we'll just call him 'candy coated evil' or something like that. He's not really evil but he's not someone you want to be locked in the same room with, either. Truth be told the K'raharian is more likely to whip you into oblivion than make nice. He's highly possessive and protective over what he sees as 'his' - especially his family and the younger babies. One must take care of their things, after all.
He's cold, distant. Likes being in control and believes he's better than everyone else. Rothe goes out of his way to try and make himself look his version of perfection and has taken up wearing long sleeves all the time to keep the markings on his body that have recently showed up hidden. The color of his skin has changed to that of the 'lowers' of his world and he finds himself more and more ashamed of how he looks (especially with those long, annoying, horrible ears like his father had) but he goes out of his way to make it seem as if he's proud of it. Weakness is not something that Rothe tolerates in himself.

Personality: Mordread, first and foremost, is an ex slave. Because of this, he has very strong issues with certain things. Dominance is not something he can handle very well. It puts him in an odd state of mind, and he becomes a bit of a pushover. He's also a wee bit on the jumpy side, especially because of his eldest son.
Mordread is the scholarly type. A nerd. Adores Mythology, and anything having to do with it. He can be light and funny, if the situation permits, but he seeks to preserve himself by sounding like a smart-assed know-it-all simply to keep people away from him. It's lonely, but the feline has seen too many relationships fall apart and ruin one or both parties. This is one of the few things that terrifies the man. Especially after his last relationship, which has left him in a slightly more broken state of mind then before.
He's a very cunning man, often over analyzing certain things. This can be good, or it can be bad, as he never underestimates his opponents, and usually takes most things that can happen into account. He does, however, have a problem with taking too long to make a move sometimes. This can cause pain. And lots of it.
Mordread likes to bluff, and he can do it well. He doesn't like showing a whole lot of emotion, feeling as doing so is weakness. His smiles are either because of the mention of gardening and books, cynical, a smirk, or forced. Every now and then, someone can make him actually smile, but usually it's because of their stupidity.
So far, the only one who has managed a relationship and bringing out the 'fluffy' side of the cat, is Patrick. This didn't end well, and Mordread accredits it to the fact that he didn't quite know how to act in a relationship and overcompensated for this, driving him away. He's been trying to adjust himself and learn from it, but at the same time he hasn't left the house unless he's had to since the break. Thus his only company has been his children.

Patrick, Iamel, Kian, Akuti, Akilah, Yashima and Katura are not in the house with Mordread, Rothe, Kayleigh, Gabriel, Dax, and Morgan. But Rothe considers them family anyway.
Patrick is a snarky, sarcastic man - who adores his children. He is Mordread's ex lover. While legally many of the children belong to one or the other - In every other way, they share them. Even if they're not together anymore, Rothe finds respect for the darker man since he's the only adult to have ever stood up to him.
Iamel is Patrick's first son. A Guardian of Death. To be more specific, Explosions. He's very possessive over Patrick and the other 'adult' of the family. In other words, he's one of the kids that takes the active role in helping out with the rest of them and had taken that role ever since Patrick disappeared for a bit. Rothe looks up to him, and respects him deeply for taking care of what's 'his'.
A hyper sweet heart to say the least. Akuti is a satyr and a superstition. She's the second child Patrick ever got, and adores both her parents with all of her little heart. Mordread calls her his Aphrodite. As for Rothe, Akuti is his favorite sibling due to the fact she seems to worship him. The fact that she's female seems to go over his head for the time being.
Quite honestly, the quietest of the White/King household. Yashima is Inari's messenger reborn and absolutely despises getting any part of him dirty. He was Patrick's third child. Rothe has not had much interaction with the fox.
Akilah is a hyperactive punk meerkat who despises Mordread with an absolute passion. He has a tendancy to claw his way up things - including his parent's leg. The household is split on liking this little boy. Rothe thinks he needs to be made into soup.
Kian...Is an odd one to comment on. Rothe and Kian seem to have some kind of love-hate relationship going. They fight a lot - mostly it's verbal - and it's likely because they're so alike and neither of them truly want to admit it; least of all Rothe. Lately, the two have come to a truce, and it seems they have started to get along much better. In an odd way. Kian is the only one Rothe seems to talk to, and so far, confide in.
Dax is a very unstable and slightly psychotic bird. He likes to peck at things and was obssessed with eating Penelope when she was a marshmallow peep. He is also a Guardian of Death - like Iamel. His element is drowning. Rothe thinks he's a pansy and an idiot.
Morgan & Katura are Patrick and Mordread's biological twins. Katura's a quiet, withdrawn thing and Morgan is the exact opposite - loud and proud of it. She will do anything for attention and is a little drama queen. Rothe has taken on role of guarding these two little ones as it's the last true 'link' between Mordread and Patrick and the only thing they generally don't fight over.
Kayleigh and Gabriel, the second set of twins in the family, and the youngest children. They are huskies, and are...Well, Rothe adores the two of them even though he won't truly admit it. Kayleigh is very possessive, and shows qualities that Rothe approves of while Gabriel is a little bit on the quiet side. This is something he appreciates as well, considering the house is loud enough.
