The gardens were decorated in pastel-colored streamers, the wind blowing to make them dance merrily without a care in the world. To the far right was a laden picnic table covered in various foods. From candy & baked goods to cheese and crackers and other snacks. A barbeque was set up to the left, though how Ianna was going to cook anything on it was mind boggling. The woman would burn water if given half the chance.
A May Pole was set up in the center of the colorful gardens, their silken ribbons blowing happily along with the streamers. In the foundtain bobbed beautiful lily pads, colorful and attracting butterflies.
In random places patches of sweet-smelling easter lillies were grown - especially for this ocassion, it seemed.
And in various places in the garden, colorful easter eggs had been hidden for both the guardian's and children's enjoyment. There is also an area where easter eggs and dye have been set up. Get ready for some messy toddlers and parents dying eggs for their kids!

FAQ:
Q: Ok, so how does this work, exactly?
A: All posts are to be roleplayed. Each post that you make where your character/child is actively looking for an egg, you can roll TWO 20-sided dice. The first dice tells me whether or not you or your child found an egg. The second tells me what they won if they did. Children are definately encouraged to look together [Interaction = love. heart ], and please, try to post something more substantial than one-liners. Prizes are nice, but RP is nicer. wink
Q: What do you mean, "actively looking"?
A: It means that in the post, the child or guardian is searching for an egg, not just chatting or hanging around.
It can be as simple as glancing out of the corner of your eye while talking, or as involved as sticking your head in a bush. XD Just make a reference of sorts.
Q: How do I know if/what I won?
A: On the first die, if you roll a 2, 8, 12, 16, or 20, you've found an egg! If I'm on, I'll post an egg (Until we run out, anyway!) but if I'm not (or we're out of images) feel free to just make one up. As for prizes, you won't know until I tell you. Prizes will range from coupons for simple toys/items for your children to pre-colored Tyuris & Kirins. Each child also has a special egg with a trinket inside.
Some eggs even have gold inside - ranging from 10g to 1000g!
Q: How long does this last?
A: OOC, it will last from 2pm PST on Easter Sunday til about 12pm PST on Tuesday. IC, it'll last for a few hours starting noon on Easter Sunday.
Q: What happens when the prizes run out?
A: All the eggs have been found! XD Feel free to stick around, though! Kids can compare how many eggs they got, swap candy, whatever!
Q: So do I have to have to be a guardian to participate?
A: Of course not! Lurkers' OCs and kids from other shops are perfectly welcome. :3 Just have a way to know about it ICly.

Kierla didn't want to come...but she came anyways. When Kiarna had found out that Kierla was invited to an Easter party, she had insisted on it. Would make a good impression~nyu, the girl had said. Then the fangirlish squeal, with a It'll be fun~nyu!
Kierla shook her head as she entered the area. Kiarna had wanted to come herself too, but luckily she already had to go to another party.
As if coming here wasn't bad enough, Kiarna had threatened to bulldozer Kierla's house if she didn't participate in the activities. Which probably included an Easter hunt.
Oh, joy.
Well, maybe Kierla could just find one, and Kiarna would let her off. She began her searche by peering among the easter lily patches. If she could find one now, when it seemed that there weren't many people around, perhaps she could get one and quit early in the game.
The ghostie that had followed in behind the waving, wind-blown hem of Kierla's cloak gurgled in Kierla's head, which she ignored. It seemed particularily interested with the butterfly-infested fountain, making more giggly noises.

Ianna was sitting at one of the other picnic tables she had spread around the gardens, head laying on the table. She seemed tired - but who wouldn't be after setting the entire event up, ordering Malen about, and finding yet another wand.
Things got tiring, man.
Coailiann, on the other hand, was happily trying to catch butterflies and using her newly gained walking legs to do it.
Oh yes. That's another reason why Ianna was so tired. Coailiann was mobile.
Fear.
The silver haired woman noticed the arrival and smiled brightly, "Welcome!"

Malen walked out into the gardens and smiled,today was going to be fun for him and and his family. Ianna would have the chance to talk with the many female guardians and he, his eyes gleamed, he would barbecue. Not only would cooking be a joy for him but it would ensure the safety of the guests.
"Come on Kishi first things first you gotta check the perimiter." Del informed her sister. Her experinces with her own treasure hunting had lead her father to the decsion that she should help her sister look for eggs. Carefully carrying kishi Del began to walk the perimiter of the gardens. it would take time but that was ok. kishi merely gurgled in contentment and kept her eyes peeled for shiny things,

Elina had never been to this place before but... She'd heard so much about it! Someone had encouraged her to go when she showed interest in their conversation. Having nothing better to do, Elina agreed to show up. She was always up for having fun!
Upon entering the garden, Elina gasped. It was decorated so beautifully! Streamers of every color caught her eye and the smell! Already Elina was sure she was going to have fun. Perhaps she'd meet some new people to make friends with! Once just never knew...

Kierla straightened up, an egg clutched in her hand. Oh. People. "Hello," she said politely. Then she saw Kay, and smiled at remembrance of the last meeting.
Ah, more people. What was his name again? Malen; Malen. With a girl beside him, and a baby in the girl's arms. "Hi! So where's Kishi today?" Kierla asked, not realizing who the baby was.
There was also someone she completely didn't know here. Was she a guardian? Kierla wondered.
Perhaps she could go now, now that she had one egg. She really didn't want to be around when the party got noisy and crowded.
But the ghost had different ideas. Realizing its guardian meant to leave already, it set up a long, relentless stream of gibberish baby-noises up in Kierla's poor head.
"All right, all right," Kierla exclaimed crossly; seemingly responding to nothing. Ha, now she knew how Ianna felt with Matilda. She sat by the fountain, checking under the lily pads.

Kishi let out a squeal and waved her arms in the direction of the thing she'd spotted using her wand to point. Following the arms and wand Del too saw the beautifully decorated egg. She walked over and bent down to pick it up then stood and gave it to Kishi " You've got keen eyes." Like most babies Kishi ignored the praise and began licking the egg, grey eyes reflecting her pleasure.

Seeing others looking for eggs, Elina smiled to herself and decided to just hop on into the fun! Deciding the nearest plant was a good enough place to start, the brunette crouched down and peaked under it's leaves.
But then she looked up when she heard a greeting. It wasn't to her though. Elina did see the girl look at her though. She'd have to go greet her and the other person that was in the garden!

Of course, there wasn't a chance in hell of Lithle coming. She tolerated the fact that she was stuck with the wand, that didn't mean she was happy about it. Enter Savius at his most insistant and demanding. Enter Jer'ain wistfully murmuring that it might be nice to do something Eastery. So they'd come. All three of them. Four really, if you counted Fen, the huge, ugly dog that stayed glued to Savius's side.
"Do we really get to look for eggs?" Jer'ain, the boyish looking preteen asked Lithle in a whisper.
"So it says. Knock yourself out." She could only be so angry. There was a light in the young girls face, and Savius was bouncing in place. It was rare that he looked so childish.
For her part, Lithle stood away from any of the other guardian's Taylor's wand held tightly in her hand. Savius and Jer'ain ran off immediatly, side by side, scanning the bushes for eggs.

Lithle's children didn't find anything either D:
Coailiann giggled childishly, unable to catch the butterflies - but that was okay! She wanted to join in the egg search now. Hopefully Yashi would come later and she could play.
Or may Malum and Levis! Babies were fun. Other than Kishi. Green eyes turned to her sisters and she blew a raspberry, toddling over to Eline and ducking under her legs in an attempt to find an egg - and she fell into the bushes, hands grasping blindly. Would she find one? She hoped she hoped she hoped.
Ianna looked over to Malen and made a face, "Don't think about touching the grill. I want to try....and...Go help your daughters find some eggs! Coailiann looks like she's going to cry."

The dark haired girl stood up, finding nothing. She was about to go and introduce herself to the others when another person entered! Seeing that she was staying away, Elina thought maybe she was waiting for someone to approach her.
But before Elina could walk over, a small child ran through her legs. Laughing, Elina turned to see fall into the bushes. She crouched back down, "Hey there, any eggs in here?" she asked, smiling sweetly as she looked around next to Coailiann.
