I am a bi. There is this girl that I like. She likes me too. We were going to date in secret cause she didn't want her mom to find out and her friends to find out about her being bi. Then I sent her a note here on gaia. Her mom had caught her on it and read the note. Her mom told her that she couldn't date me and that she didn't want her likeing girls like that. We sill like each other.
What should I do?

Ah jeez, how to deal with homophobic parents. Say you're just friends but secretely date anyways. If you're lucky you'll have a friend that's understanding and you could use them as cover, like, hang out with them and your gf.
Really it's just a bunch of low-level espionage. Her mom is a homophobic b***h and until that changes she can't know about her daughter liking other females. It's a very tricky situation and I apologize for not having enough time to go into an indepth way of getting around her mother. You have my very best of wishes.

That you still like her, and that her mom is telling her to deny her feelings. Also, parents aren't always right. All they can go on for what they tell their kids is what they think is best. That dosen't mean it's best. In this case it's one of the worst things her mom could do, telling her daughter to deny her bisexuality.
The thing is, her mom could be doing it for multiple reasons. She could want her daughter to not have to deal with being made fun of by other kids in school. Then again, she could be the religious type and thinks it's sinful and wrong. I don't know her mom, but these are some possibilities.
It can be very difficult to tell someone that their parents are wrong, especially if they're not already rebelling against their parents.
I hope this is helpful for you two. Best of luck.

hate to say it but, she needs to tell her mom off. if her mom really cares about her then she'll back off if not then...she may have to go against her mom if she really likes you if she is willing to listen to her mom and stay away from you then, again sorry to say it, but maybe she doesn't like you enough to be serious

This is baad. Talk about nosy parents (in this case mother). I feel the pain, yet my parents don't know about my bisexuality.
